A lot of players sat out last year due to COVID including Ja'Marr Chase, Penei Sewell, Rashawn Slater, Gregory Rousseau, Rondale Moore, Caleb Farley, all of whom will likely be selected in the 1st round. |

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
Tough call on Parsons. I wouldn't trade up for him, but if those were the only things, and Rivera feels comfortable with him, I'd gladly take him at 19.

Pass on Parsons.
And I would be surprised if we weren't one of the teams who took him off their board

Of LB possibilities, I am warming up to the Tulsa kid .. Zaven Collins. 6'4" 260 ... a big boy, but with speed to cover sideline to sideline. Run stopping, fumble causing kinda LB ... but also the cover skills to pick off passes, and take them back to the house. He sounds like a freak. And all this would only be enhanced behind our line of freaks. I know we need serious offensive help ... but adding this kind of linebacker would make our D something crazy special. |

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
This draft is strong in all the spots we need besides TE. There are a few guys there tho too, just not quite as deep.
Draft is 1 month from today. Yes!!

100% agree, he is tall like our lineman, would really affect throwing lanes and could use him in a hybrid role like Isaiah Simmons.... In our defense, he would be another athletic freak (young, sweat) that would really make plays all over the field with his coverage skills |

Another good choice at 19, a blocker for Fitz: Teven Jenkins, OK State

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
If Micah Parsons is there at 19, I think we do an Orakpo and make our pick without waiting the clock out.
Highly doubt he is though. |

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
You don't see anything alarming? If Foster (who also had baggage and fell) and Parsons were coming out the same year most, if not all, would choose Foster easily over him. Of course no one would draft Foster in the 1st round now knowing how that went.

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
I think he will be there. It wouldn't even surprise me if he is there with our 2d rounder (I'd risk it then). Don't forget how Rueben Foster fell and he was a better prospect than Parsons is now.

What exactly do you see that scares you away from him?

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
I kinda like the inciting a riot vibe at the MLB position on the field, that is what he should be doing. I’d take Parsons
Better than the masseuse tuggy vibe at QB

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
I guess calling someone out for being racist = inciting a riot.
Maybe the school Principal should have handled the racism part of the scenario rather than empowering the alleged racists by accusing Parsons of inciting a riot for calling them out. Good for him for calling them out. You don't get to pose for AND POST a picture that says "You stupid N***er" and just get away with it... |
