Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Basketball Thread
Enjoy it now VCU fans. Shaka Smart will be in Illinois next year. Or somewhere else.
Can't wait to see my Gators run Norfolk State off the court tomorrow and head to the sweet 16!

Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Basketball Thread
I take that back. Judging from my Warpath bracket, I'm actually doing pretty well. Maybe I won't crash and burn this year.

Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Basketball Thread
My bracket has more red than I can ever remember, but if luck is on my side I could still somehow end up with 7 of the 8 teams in the Elite 8.
Bad break literally for UNC. I had them picked to lose to Kentucky in the last game. LEHIGH!

If he does end up staying I think we will start next season ranked in the top 25 or at least receive a considerable amount of votes to be. Next year we also start the season off with a extremely rare chance that allows a hot mid-major to play teams like Duke, Memphis, Stanford, Louisville, Missouri, Minnesota, and Kansas in a Thanksgiving day tourney. We also get Alabama when Grant makes his contractual homecoming. Last year it didn’t make a lot of sense for Shaka to take a gamble to increase his stock. Next year it actually does.

Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Basketball Thread
My bracket looks like a Christmas decoration. One side is almost all green, the other side almost all red.
Glad I didn't abandon Syracuse like the "experts" suggested when they lost Melo. I had them in the Final Four but backed them up to losing to Ohio State in the Elite 8. So far, so good. If the Tar Heels lose to the Ohio Bobcats, I'm going to wreck something though. I have Kentucky beating UNC in the final. What about "y'all"? Anyone see Wisconsin's last shot last night? Geesh...worst idea ever. They were chucking shots from 10 feet behind the arc all game though. They deserved to lose.

Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Basketball Thread
My Gators are ROLLING right now. 3 combined wins by over 70 points. Playing lockdown D, and Bradley Beal is a monster.
I think we've got a great shot to beat Louisville and go the Final Four.
