We see NFL players all the time cry on the sidelines after losing a playoff game or the SB.

It should be a non story.

I like to think we're all mostly rational minds on here - Howell has certainly shown enough at this point to see what he can do long-term.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread

It's not that the guy cried after a loss. It's that he jumped into the stands and almost laid down in his mom's lap and cried. You may see that in a little league game. Then this guy is painting his nails. Idk about Caleb. Is this guy mentally tough enough to deal w/ being a NFL top NFL starter?

I would take Penix over Williams. There is just something off about Williams. He fumbles too much. Makes a lot of great plays but I don't think he is mentally tough enough for the NFL.
Williams gonna be a bust. I’ll take a more poised and less emotional QB. It’s definitely a maturity thing with Williams, which should be a flashing red flag

Penix is my guy as well he seems like a better passer. Who knows

For this upcoming draft I’m taking one of the top 3 tackles, a Linebacker in the second along with a pass rusher. Looking at Guard and TE as well.

Call me crazy, but the RB talent here is way underwhelming. I’m bringing in a free agent RB as well as drafting someone mid-late in draft.

It's tough to evaluate the RB talent when they aren't often used.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread

Right now I'd say the top 3 holes, in order, are LB, OL then edge. Yeah we need all 3, but we have all but nothing at LB and likely an OL rebuild in the offseason.

Plus there are probably going to be 1 or 2 good DE possibilities in FA, but few OL.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread

Our 5 bigges holes are Dylan (OL), Dylan (OL), Dylan (OL), Dylan (OL), and Dylan (OL). I hope our new GM spits hot fire for the 2024 OL.

2 OT’s, 1edge, 2 LB’s and then the rest

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread

If Alt and Fashanu aren't available when we pick, and Bowers is, I'd draft him. TE isn't normally a super high drafted position, but that dude is a stud.

So is Armani Rogers, I was dying to see him with Howell. Next year.

NFL players are the biggest prima donnas in all of sports I guarantee 90% are getting weekly manicures and pedicures. Sounds like he would fit right in
