Re: Dwayne Haskins

I imagine this will affect Haskins's relationships with some players. Some players will not appreciate the fact that Haskins decided to risk the team's playoffs chance, just to party, especially after a loss.

It's going to be tough for Rivera and the team to hold onto Haskins next year unless Haskins dramatically improve himself in the offseason.

Yeah I'd say the Jon Allen and Chase Young types won't appreciate it

Haskins has already been given an opportunity to improve himself and his standing with this team. He had the chance to take the reigns of a much improved team and show that his game had improved, not to mention, having the chance to show true maturity.

Instead, he has an awful game, and pulls this crap afterwards.

I think if we had a capable backup right now, he'd be gone. It would not surprise me at all, if he's release as soon as the season ends for the team.

My understanding from the Denver situation was a backup Qb tested positive and they did a close contact search and found all the QBs didnt wear a mask while in close contact = all QBs had to quarantine/fined etc

Here ... (1) we dont have a positive test, (2) even so, Alex Smith and everyone else would not be subject to quarantine if they followed protocols i.e. masks

Re: Dwayne Haskins

The amount of people defending him on Twitter, just amazing. He's an idiot and anyone defending him right now.

I agree. If his fate with the team wasn't sealed before it sure is now

Re: Dwayne Haskins

I am so done with Haskins. Keep him only as long as we need to in order to have a QB on the field, and then cut him the minute we don’t. Unreal. Stupid, selfish, immature asshole.

No way I will ever think this idiot is capable of leading a team now.

Practice pics from last week:

Looks like the team is very strict, at least with masks. Maybe that's why the team, especially the D is so strong late in games...oxygen deprivation training like Olympic athletes and mountain climbers do. The other teams are getting winded and we're not.

Re: Dwayne Haskins

Alex Smith was able to mentor Mahomes to MVP...here, Haskins has violated pandemic restrictions twice in a season and work ethic has been widely criticized while underperforming

It’s about the person...Haskins pissed on his opportunity. I blame Snyder and Bruce..but Ron needs to cut him immediately after the season

Yeah and it's year 2 and he still can't handle a full playbook either.

Time to cut our losses once the season is over. I've had it with this fool.

Re: Dwayne Haskins

I wish they could just do it right now. It's inexcusable.

Other than seeing him leaving the facility with his belongings, nothing would be more satisfying for me right now than to hear that C Young, B Scherff, & J Allen took him behind closed doors (whenever he's allowed back at the facility) and squared his ass away.

He's really put Ron in an impossible position at a time when this team is supposed to be ramping up for the most important game of the season.

If this isn't the final clue for him to stay the fuck out of any football player decisions, then it will never ever sink in.
