Re: Birds Post game
For anyone concerned about the pass rush, did it seem like they were rushing only four the vast majority of the time? I’d still like more rush but I’ll take that without blitzing.

P Rich would have scored in stride if he wasn’t held. That was actually a beautiful pass and a beautiful call. |

Re: Birds Post game
Overall it was a great game - it is a good sign we beat a team that we are supposed to beat and we had good control most of game. Offense looks good with Smith even though he checked in often, but with how CT is playing, I'm not complaining. I was hoping to see some passes to WRs and TEs.
Dunbar had a great game, he is becoming a great story! Our DBs did good job containing everyone, and entire defense on David Johnson. I'm curious to see how this defense will play against better offenses (I was going to say Packers but Rodgers is out with knee injury now so who knows). AP ran well but wow he dances way too much, he could have gotten little more yards had if he just run through fast. Glad the fumble happened when we had great control of the game. Very impressed with CT and he said his leg isn't fully healed. Can't wait to see when he is 100% healthy! |

Re: Birds Post game
Today showed why 11 is an upgrade over KC. He made so many plays on the move, super accurate and smart.

Re: Birds Post game
Pass rush wasn't there today but also Sam has always been good at getting the ball out fast.

Re: Birds Post game
With Cousins, it felt like being a negative Nancy worry wart until the clock struck zero was 100% warranted.
With Alex Smith, I feel like I was just being a big baby. It just feels different in a beautiful way with AS. That's a good feeling.

Re: Birds Post game
I hate to say this cause I can’t stand his ass, but depending on the results of the MRI’s of Quinn and Sims, could the Redskins sign Dez if those 2 are hurt for awhile? Apparently Dez says he wants to play for the Patriots or Redskins.

I hate that I'm actually thinking about this and can't say no with 100% conviction.

Re: Birds Post game
Run defense: David Johnson gained 24 yards on 4 carries on the very first cards series of the day. After that series: 13 yards on 5 carries Johnson.
