I think we're going to hold tight. Already exceeding expectations. Keep those picks and use all that cap space in the offseason. We might be dope as fuck in 2025.

Re: Potential trades
No to Adam's b/c of the ask for a 2nd rounder+ ... plus his type of contract ... plus anything making any waves in the current chemistry of the team

Re: Potential trades
Agreed, nobody at the edge position aside from Reddick making unsettled noises. And he's no spring chicken. A trade would have to be tempting for the other team if they're struggling and looking to rebuild maybe? But probably too expensive. CB though?

Everyone should know by now that trying to go on a run for title contention with an average QB and a loaded roster is just taking the long, hard route with very low odds, we just don't have a track record of too many teams doing this successfully. But we have seen a ton of teams with true franchise QBs stay in contention as long as they have that QB playing at that level. We have this now. Barring injury there is just no way Jayden Daneis will not be a franchise QB, I predict he will be a star and a real difference maker. So getting back to your point we are in a great position to have a really good team by next year. Last edited by Darrell Green Fan; 10-05-2024 at 04:00 PM. |

Re: Potential trades
I mean Gibbs 1 was OLINE and skill players with rotating QBs. that's definitely the harder way to do it though.
We should probably just grab Nabers whenever his contract runs out. That would be ridiculous. |

Re: Potential trades
Is there a man - corner out there available? No harm in calling

Re: Potential trades
It's not a matter of if there's a guy available its whether or not he can be better than what we have, especially for the price. There's a whole list of guys available, probably top of the list is Xavien Howard. But is any one of them an upgrade and/or not a big cap hit? Do we chase someone now that's likely to be here for 11 games at most, then possibly costing us with next years cap situation? If we can upgrade over BSJ and Forbes, then maybe its worth it. But I suspect Peters and Quinn have agreed to see how this year goes as is, then use the draft to fill the key DE and DB holes.

Re: Potential trades
With Allen out for the season (& IR), that's a roster spot opening up, right? Elevate someone from PS or look at FA? My suspicion is the former.

Re: Potential trades
There are 2 Fuller's, our Fuller is playing for the Dolphins now. This is his brother that came in for a workout.
