Luckily we won that game or else he would have been a sanchez like joke

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

Alex Smith is a quality person. I think he still lives out here in the Bay Area (from his days at SF). Last summer, I was standing in line in this small market where I live, and I realized that he was standing in front of me waiting to check out. The woman at the register recognized him, and started gushing. He was incredibly gracious, smiled, thanked her, and signed an autograph for her. Then when a number of other employees queued up asked for autographs, he turned to me and said, "Why don't you check our first? I don't want to hold you up. Sorry about that."

A few of the folks that work there had clearly met him before, and he remembered a few names. He was genuine and just a total class act.

In terms of character, I think there's no better role model in the NFL.

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

Alex Smith and his wife Liz, shook the hands of every redskins employee after his press conference. According to JPFinley.

I saw the press conference and he seems like an good guy and he will do his best. The Redskins did a nice job in getting away from a sticky QB situation and as we all know that is not an easy thing to do in the NFL.

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

When he was asked about getting together with his receivers in the O/S

"I think that stuff is great for instagram followers but we are limited to what we can do right now and would like to have coaches there. "

haha I like how he has nothing to do with social media.

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

Did you guys notice Doug was the man introducing AS? And his comments
"we are not looking back, we are looking into the future"
"Dan does nothing but listen to us"

I like DW

I like DW
I may be wrong, but I think DW is our Ozzie Newsome. I wonder how much input he had into the past drafts.

I would assume that he is basically the "GM" of the team at this point.
