Saints are the Aints again?

With the amazing blow out vs the Colts in week one, and now the loss to the Bucs 31-14, this team looks like they are one of the worst in the NFC.
Thoughts?

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

Wow, Trent Green was quite on target with his passes today. The only problem was, he was throwing to the wrong team!

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

Trent Green looked aweful from the little I watched. The PUKES are on there way to a 2-0 start. No help from Miami on this one.

I hate to say it, but the Cowboys....man I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Cowboys appear to be the real deal. Ugh! Man that hurts to say!

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

Oh man that's gotta be a heartbreaking interception for Kellen Clemens. 3 times he would've tied the game up but McCareins let the ball slip through his hands twice, and Coles didn't make the other catch. I'll give him credit though, he came on really strong in the second half, and it looks like he has a really good future ahead of him.

You know, there are other games that happened this week other than the Cowboys.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

ohhhhhh that was nice. Raiders went for the game winner in overtime, Seabass kicked it, straight down the middle, but milliseconds before the ball was snapped Denver called a timeout so the kick didn't count. Then, on the same play again, Seabass kicked it but it hit the left upright and bounced out. That's gotta f'n suck so bad.

And now Denver is driving and they are on the Raiders 49 yard line.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

Janikowski hits a 52 yard field goal in OT...but Shanahan called a TO first...retry hits the pole, no good...classic!

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

yeah Denver is about to win this game, they are on the Raiders 30ish yard line, n Jason Elam is pretty much good from any distance, so essentially the Raiders are screwed, unless they can stop Denver on third down now.

I love it when the Raiders lose...well hopefully they will cause of that.

Janikowski has a HUGE leg...shame he's not accurate.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

They said he was hitting 65 yard field goals pregame with no wind, I heard on his missed kick that Shane Lechler didn't get the snap down right. I wanted to see the Raiders win this game because everyone is all over Denver's nuts.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)

Yep Raiders are about to lose, first and goal Denver, it's a friggin chip shot now.

EDIT: Raiders lost. I can only imagine what they are feeling right now, having kicked the game winner only to find out it didn't count, and then they lose the game.
