Do we have a Hankerson sighting this week?

We get a defensive or special teams TD and the media starts to give us some credit.
We haven't had any already??

We have, not saying that but there are still a few naysayers that say that the Saints defense isn't very good at home despite the fact that they only gave up 20 points at home last season twice, and went 9-0 there.

I have to agree. Everytime I cut on the TV or radio someone is talking about RG III. He seems to be pretty grounded but I hope all this hype does not start to go to his head.

I don't think hype is anything new to him.

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

For some reason, I think this game will be close only if one side of the ball struggles.

Redskins 21
Rams 17

But if the Redskins defense as well as the offense does their parts, then the score will be more like......

Redskins 35
Rams 10

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

Im thinking turnovers are going to be the key in this game. If we protect the ball on offense, while forcing turnovers on defense (i think we should have atleast 1 sack fumble at kerrigans hand) the game will be a blowout. Im thinking 30-9 in our favor. If we dont force turnovers i think its going to be a defensive battle and be more like 20-12 in our favor.

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

I'm calling blowout

Redskins 42
Ram 10

RG3: 350 Yds, 3 Passing TDs, 1 Rushing TD, 0 INTs -- they sit him with about 10 minutes left in the fourth and we get to see Kirk

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

I predict we win

Not worried about RGIII throwing an INT here and there, because he's a playmaker and this offense knows how to score.

INTs by Rex/Beck were a killer because that offense struggled mightily to put points on the board.

Also, Griffin's INTs are likely to happen on bombs down the field so the opponent doesn't start with great field position. Previous INTs/turnovers often happened close or even BEHIND the LOS...geez I'm glad those days are over.

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

Skins 27 Rams 19 (because our D forces FGs instead of TDs). I think the Rams D is probably better than what we saw last week, and so I would not expect 40 points. But we ought to win and it will be more of a nail biter than any of us would like.
