Re: RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season
I want to bring up something about the hits that RG3 is taking.... I've watched every play of every game so far this season and most of his hits other than the one this past game where a guy actually wraps him up and slams him into the ground are of the slaming into him and him ricocheting off varity. To me the physics of those kinds of hit are better for RG3 because while the hit looks vicious, he generally has been knocked away from everyone and onto the ground. He is not getting "crunched" or sandwiched between guys which can cause major injuries. He knows how to take a hit. Does that make sense?

Re: RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season
Anybody remember watching Randall Cunningham? I was just a kid at the time but I remember him getting blown up regularly, but escaping injury because he was generally not getting buried in the turf. I'm hoping for similar luck with RG3.

Re: RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season
Come on people. We haven't even played a division game yet.
The NFL did us a favor by giving us the worst defenses at the start of the year to build hype for the kid. he hasn't done shit till he beats the Cowboys, Eagles and Giants. Those are the games that matter. |

The NFL schedule was released before we even drafted him.

Well, they better get better in the secondary before we face any division foes. I know Romo threw 5 picks last night, but he and Manning and Vick will chew up the Skins secondary in its current form.

Re: RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season
But it was released a month after we traded for the 2nd slot in the draft. It was clear we would have RG3.
RG3 is talented and exceeded my expectations but he hasn't faced a premiere defense yet. I want to see if the Kid gets rattled when Ware or PierrePaul get a free shot at him. What I am trying to say is don't be this guy: http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-l...-nfc-east.html |

Re: RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season
^ I understood what you were saying. I agree too because once we lose to an NFC East team, it'll be back to "So and so sucks" "____ needs to be fired" "Our special teams/defense is one of the worst ever" "we are a cursed franchise" "How do we lose to the ____, they've been sucking" etc etc.

Re: RG3 on Pace to Set 13 NFL Records This Season
This site is a haven for negative Debbie-Downer fans.
A couple of questions for any of you DDF's: How does being negative regarding the team/RGIII make you feel happy? Why be pessimistic? Why even be a fan? Why not go fishing on a Sunday instead? |
