Re: With the 19th Pick, the WFT selects....
With good prospects at LT, LB, CB and WR ... hell to the naw naw naw. Scary part .. Etiene seems to be a RR/Turner player. Quick out of backfield, swiss army knife, able to use multiple ways in multiple packages. If they have a top 10 grade on him .. wouldnt they have to stay true to their board and BPA? |

I just read that JOK from Notre Dame is from just south of DC.
I think this means he's a lock. |

Re: With the 19th Pick, the WFT selects....
Parsons, Darrisaw, Jensen, JOK, Farley, Samuel .. in that order
Normally I like staying in the first but I wouldnt mind a trade down either, tons of value in the 2nd round. this years 2nd plus 2022 1st would be awesome or 2 2nds this year if a team had them. im sorry .. totally not just answering the question apologies |

Re: With the 19th Pick, the WFT selects....
Interesting piece on Riggo's Rag where WFT trades down once, and then again out of the 1st round. compiling picks in this AND next year's draft ... arming WFT to make a move up for the QB of the future next year, while filling holes all over in this year's draft.
I could go for that honestly. Lots of IF's in this .... but not bad either. https://riggosrag.com/2021/04/20/pre...football-team/ |

This is the strategy I hope they employ. Of course you need a partner... Although if it played out like that I would be tempted to take Z Collins, T Moehrig, or C Farley. I do like the idea of trading back though if it's a good deal. Last edited by Chief X_Phackter; 04-20-2021 at 10:32 PM. |

The more I think about it, I think what I like most is putting ourselves in position to make a huge move UP next year, to snag whichever QB we want. Sure we stockpile a bunch of picks for this year. But at the same time putting yourself in position next year, is also exciting. Early look at best QB's in coming year: Sam Howell, UNC Kedon Slovis, USC Bo Nix, Auburn (ahhh, maybe) Spencer Rattler, Oklahoma Layne Hatcher, Arkansas State (transferred from Bama) Desmond Ritter, Cincinnati Dustin Crum, Kent State Jacob Zeno, Baylor Spencer Sanders, Oklahoma State JT Daniels, Georgia Plus several others who could emerge -- Purdy, Iowa State; Tanner, Minnesota; my guy Malik Cunningham, Louisville ... |

I’m not in favor of a project quarterback. I feel like it’s a waste of a pick.

We have Fitz who has never led a team to playoffs in 18 years, Allen who blows, and Hein who has potential but is certainly not a proven franchise QB (and who won't get that chance while we waste reps on Fitz-never-won-squat). This is at the most important position in sports, where we have no long term answer. You can draft a LB, a FS, a TE, a LT, etc., we're still not sniffing a SB without a true franchise QB. |
