Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Good point from JP:
@JPFinlayNBCS That Josh Harris and the Commanders were able to announce Bob Myers and Rick Spielman as advisors this morning means those guys have already been working on this for sometime. Love that the new ownership is proactive and not reactionary.

@jjones9
The Commanders aren't wasting time. In addition to head-coaching requests, they have also requested permission to interview Browns AGM Glenn Cook for their new head of football operations, source says. |

@John_Keim
Washington has asked for permission to talk to Bears asst GM Ian Cunningham , source confirms. Josh Harris met briefly with Cunningham at the accelerator program during the owners meetings last month. @RapSheet first. |

Commanders requested permission to interview Rams’ DC Raheem Morris for their head coach job, per source. |

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Yeah, it's kinda interesting that they are already putting in requests to interview coaches for the head coach position prior to hiring a GM.. It is possible they are exploring the idea of partnering GM and head coach based on mutual interests (i.e., Lynch and Kyle S.).

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Agreed. The Warriors culture is the vibe Harris is looking for. A team that is consistently in the conversation to win titles. I like the move. Guessing Spielman is there to help Myers with the more football-related matters.

Statement from Ron. Very classy - this is why you show courtesy as an organization. When was the last time you had a coach say this on his way out the door?

He's going to get another chance soon enough and he deserves one.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Relax dude. They are just kicking the tires. Don't read into it too much. Hate to say it but they might be just obliging the Rooney Rule on this one too.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
By this logic Bill Belichick never deserved another opportunity after Cleveland.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
We need to let Harris have a chance to succeed prior to complaining about his hires (that haven't even happened yet). Let's let Harris higher whoever he thinks is best for all positions then see what it looks like over the next couple seasons. I can't see spending 2024 in any sort of negative light.
