Beamer just cant win the big game. Hats off to Stanford they were the better team last night, probably could be the national champions if college football would grow a pair...until then second tier sport

I'm a VT fan but I have so much fun ragging on my friends and family who are diehard VT fans. They are what they are and until they find a new O cordinator they will never win a big game.

I really want to see Jim Harbaugh come up to the big leagues. Too good of a coach, one of a handful that could handle it.

I remember in 2006 when nobody thought a one loss Florida team had a prayer against Troy Smith and unbeaten Ohio State. A 41-14 beating later...

BTW, I was one of the few who thought the Gators would handily defeat the always hyped Buckeyes.

Re: ***2010-2011 College Football Thread***
Wow, what a fantastic game the Sugar Bowl was. Ryan Mallet's last pass thrown as a Razorback ends up costing him a BCS Bowl victory. Sucks for him, because truth be told if his WR's could have held on to the ball today, Arkansas would have won by double digits.
That was a big win for Jim Tressel. If he lost that one, he would have entered Bob Stoops-ian territory as far as BCS losses.

Re: ***2010-2011 College Football Thread***
Is it me, or has ESPN turned any/all BCS Bowl game trophy presentations into immediate post-game pressers? I mean, there is still confetti falling on Tressel, and Rece Davis is up there asking him about scrutiny surrounding Terrelle Pryor, etc etc. Just yesterday Rece was asking Harbaugh and Luck about their future before they could even start enjoying a win. What a cheap bunch of crap. Let the coach and the kids enjoy the big victory.
Maybe I have a short term memory, but since when did bowl trophy presentations turn into pushy press questions? >>Side note- why is there an ad for Jimmy Cho stiletto heels currently right below this post?

Gotta capitalize on opportunities. They had soooooo many and failed to do so.

Re: ***2010-2011 College Football Thread***
the Big ten was horrible this year , but OSU wins two BCS games in a row ! I have a feeling that the Ducks will lose two in a row . I hope the Championship game goes down the wire !
