Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
what a game by doug martin, glad i wasn't playing against him.
i beat the guy who was previously undefeated in my money league. i'm up 98-92, i have lesean mccoy tonight, all his players have played. unless there is a 7 point swing in stat corrections, or mccoy does nothing but loses 4 fumbles tonight - i should be alright. i have actually pulled mccoy from my lineup, taking the proverbial knee. *edit, typo

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
i had put mccoy back in the lineup last week, it didn't matter.
this week my toughest choice is at qb, here's how i'm leaning: QB Andy Dalton, Cin*QB RB LeSean McCoy, Phi*RB RB Matt Forte, Chi*RB WR Hakeem Nicks, NYG*WR**Q WR A.J. Green, Cin*WR TE Joel Dreessen, Den*TE FLEX Jamaal Charles, KC*RB**Q D/ST Broncos D/ST*D/ST K Connor Barth, TB*K Bench Larry Fitzgerald, Ari*WR BYE Bench Alex Green, GB*RB BYE Bench Mike Williams, TB*WR Bench Josh Gordon, Cle*WR BYE Bench Martellus Bennett, NYG*TE**Q Bench Carson Palmer, Oak*QB Bench Danny Amendola, StL*WR**Q

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Yeah we use Yahoo as well, very frustrating yesterday. I was actually going to NFL.COM and doing some hand-figuring to get my stats. That was very old school because I was a guy doing the same hand figuring for Fantasy Football back in the early 90's before computers did it all for you! LOL

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Here's funny...
I have a team in a 2-QB league...where we play 2 active QBs every week. I have RGIII and Aaron Rodgers...both on bye this week. So, I dropped some end-of-the-bench WRs and RBs to pick up the ONLY two remaining active QBs this week off the wire just to have someone in the spots for a few poitns instead of none. They were Mark Sanchez and Blaine Gabbert. They COMBINED to get me 11 points! They're going back into the FA pool obviously...one week need. Oh, and I'm going to win the matchup this week too.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
The Warpath Money League has lost a bit of its drama going into these last weeks. One team has already clinched a spot. As to the last three spots, one (or more) of the three 7-3 teams has to go 1-3 or 0-4 and one (or more) of the 4-6 teams has to go 3-1 or 4-0. Also, given the scoring to date, the current top 4 teams are likely to hold the "highest points" tiebreaker.
Haven't looked at the schedule, but I imagine it would be possible for the playoffs to be basically set this weekend.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
If you guys all play in 14 game regular season leagues like I do, then 8-6 most likely will be enough to make it into the playoffs which are Weeks 15 and 16. I'm 8-2 in one league and 9-1 in another. I'm kind of coasting until mid-December. Then you know my guys won't show up and I'll probably loose in the first round!

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
Yeah, that happened to me a couple of years ago ... highest scoring team all year, best record in the league, then the first week of the play-offs my guys tank. Boom. Done. Just the way the cookie crumbles.
I have a great team this year but I can see it happening all over again. As for our league, we have one undefeated team, three 7-3 teams then five 4-6 teams. I agree, 8-6 will probably get a team in the play-offs, but I think a lot of things would have to break in favor of one of the current 4-6 teams to do that - including making up a substantial point differential.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread
i love my money league team, 7-3 and just clinched my division, most likely the #2 seed in the playoffs.
starting to plot moves for the final weeks, when some starters may be resting. it was the cj spiller/lance moore/mikel leshoure for aj green trade that put me over the top. he's still kicking himself, idk what he was thinking
