My wife: “He’s always so calm back there / he seems like he really knows what’s going on and never gets rattled. Is that normal?”
Me: “For a rookie on his 9th game? Not even close to normal. I think he’s from another planet.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread
Biggest surprise…he doesn’t turn the ball over. It’s usually the thing rookies struggle with the most…the speed of the game leads to turnovers.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread
Totally agree. It is huge attribute for sure as turnovers are the determinant of victor in so many games. He makes great decisions and protects the ball. All of his film study clearly pays off. He's been great.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread
Yesterday, at a watering hole near my home whilst watching our game versus the G-men, some arrogant prick (I know that may sound redundant, lol) claimed (paraphrased), "Daniels can't read defenses and Washington's college OC (WTF does that even means?!), Kliff Kingsbury, is running a college offense because Daniels is only a one-read QB." He was adamant about his poor stance. He went on and on about other stuff--mostly irrelevant--for a decent portion of the game.
I told him "Just because you talk a lot doesn't mean you know a lot." |

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread
Keim covered JD's mindset about not causing turnovers in his podcast last night - he said that on one play in red zone, Dyami Brown was open in the corner of end zone but JD didn't throw and instead he threw it out of bounds and then we kicked a FG to make it 2 score ahead. Keim also mentioned that JD tends to make smart decisions, whether to take the risk or not. Seems like JD is hyper aware of potential risks and acts accordingly, which is pretty amazing for a rookie.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread
As exciting as RG3's rookie year was, JD is somehow surpassing it.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread
As with anything during that time, having the Snyder cloud over everyone's head always meant that somehow, something was going to go wrong. Thankfully that is not the case anymore.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread
well by week 9 in 2012 we were 3-6 ; then we won 7 in a row to finish out
so i say jd5 has definitely started stronger lets se how he finishes but i see jd5 being a much better long term prospect then RG3
