sorry if that's a dim view, but if you didn't notice any of that, you won't notice trump or hillary either. trump is a bit more dangerous with a republican congress, but neither he nor sanders are really part of the parties they're running under, they're just leveraging those machines since independent runs are basically impossible... which means that congressional carte blanche probably wouldn't exist for trump anyways. |

Re: Republican nominee for President
I certainly have things that I've disagreed with over the years. I DID forget about TSA though as something that's new and highly annoying/ineffective.
I worry that a Trump presidency would touch my daily life directly. Sure Hillary, Cruz or Bernie might do things I agree or disagree with, but I just can't imagine my life changing that much with any of them in charge. Could it happen? Very possibly.

I agree with MalcomConnection ,having Donald Trump as President and have him go off nuclear or worse could very well be the end of this country and this world. No other canidate scares me in that way.

Re: Republican nominee for President
what point are you trying to make? that we should be okay with trampling human rights or that we shouldn't hold people accountable for doing shady shit because it's happened before? and how am i acting like it's new? i mean this stuff happened between 2003 and 2010, which was a while ago, but i wasn't happy with it at that time either.

Well those that vote for Trump must not be in their right minds for some strange reason.

Re: Republican nominee for President
i wasn't talking about things they were saying, i was talking about things they actually did. i don't think holding people accountable is too much to ask.

Trump rallies are like going to Wrestlemania. I'm just waiting for someone to crack someone over the head with a chair.

Re: Republican nominee for President
You have a right in this country to voice your opinion without fear of Federal persecution...and some other things. It does not however protect an asshole "disrupter" from getting their (well deserved ) ass kicked.
When you and your pals invade a legal assembly...of any kind.....and another group.....Black lives matter, or any other group with the express intention of robbing the assembly of it's first amendment rights...you need your ass kicked.
