Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
Please. If it says anything at all it says Zorn sucks. He should be embarrassed. I began to wonder if Bruce Allen told Sherm Lewis to let Zorn be coach this week to see what he has and is capable of. I wonder if it was a part of the evaluation process cause it really looks like how we played prior to Sherm Lewis. Bad plays at bad times. Poor clock management.
I wonder if Sherm Lewis was given the second half and was told let Zorn call the first half. So he could evaluate Zorn. Then he can say he gave Zorn an opportunity and blew it. Ya know ...it's all about "execution". |

Agreed. The Giants came to play tonight, they are still in the hunt and they are playing this game as a playoff type game. Kudos to them for doing so.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
Anyone can find a job, I just find it laughable that people think the coaching staff is doing this on purpose. The team is just fucking up and the coaches are getting out-coached period.

Ok I have composed my self for the second half ...... Ethan Albright needs to play a bigger role in this game if we are to have any chance.

With the Skins and management you never know, but I would be surprised if it was the case. Allen and Zorn both know how things are going to end up after the San Diego game, so why do this?

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
I don't know why this is so hard to accept. The Giants are just the better team right now and our players haven't shown up, period. No stupid theory about the coaching staff throwing the game.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
After a week like last week what do you expect? Like I said Danny should have waited to fire Vinny and Zorn till the end of the season, but no he couldn't wait. This is what you get when you get major distractions.

I think Devin Thomas jacked up his knee on that kick return.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
Come on folks, what did you expect? THis team is in limbo right now, while the Gmen have everything to play for still. On top of that they have been ripped a new A hole by the media for about a good month now(especially the defense), so theyhave had even another extra incentive to come out swinging. On top of that this Skins team has no character, especially since ST died. It might end up being ironic how Campbell left the game. I give him only a 30/70 chance of being back next season if he closes out badly.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
That call at the end of the half was not an eff you to anybody, at least not intentionally. If anything, it was a big eff you from the coaching staff to the players. A team that is even remotely interested in winning this football game kicks the field goal. Unbelievable.
And then we're wearing the damn burgundy-on-burgundy uniforms, a Spurrier-era innovation. Funny, it feels like the ol' ball coach is back at the helm . . . |
