Very interesting to ask a simple question. Who is the best pure pass blocker on the left side in this draft, without any concern for run blocking? Realize they are not mutually exclusive, but still.

I'm not sold on Sewell.

But I'd gladly take him, Darrisaw, or Slater at 19.

Jenkins, I wouldn't be upset, but also not necessarily excited.

The #Panthers are trading QB Teddy Bridgewater to the #Broncos for a sixth-round draft pick, per source.

There goes the Denver taking a QB take

"I am hearing the WFT is doing legwork to trade up into the top 10 tomorrow night" Jeremy Fowler ESPN

He went on to say "Keep an eye on Micah Parsons and Trey Lance"

I don't see them trading up for Parsons

2019 Steelers traded their 20, 52 and next years 3R to move up to 10 to take LB Devin Bush.

Id be "okay" with something like that that doesnt involve 2 firt rounders but itd better be for a Qb and they better be right about him. Impact LBs can be had at 19.

2nd round this draft has good value as well.

#9 is probably the spot to trade up to now, if a team wants one of the leftovers from the top 5 QB prospects.

If it's J. Fields sitting there at #9, I would consider it.

We've got a big need at LB, Ron and Jack are both defensive minded coaches, I could definitely see them moving up for Parsons to be the QB of the D.

It's definitely a possibility, but at this point (with the reported character issues/red flags/whatever you want to call it) I think he's probably a guy that you take if he falls, rather than someone you move up that far to get.

I'd be happy with Sewell or Pitts (Not a chance Pitts would fall though imo) as well.

Re: Draft Week Baby!! - Thread 3.0

Odd plan for the Broncos, neither Lock or Bridgewater seem like they'll lead to success. Honestly I'd probably give Lock another season before trusting Bridgewater.

Anyways, the real wild card is now where Garoppolo gets traded to. Could be us...New England has expressed interest in getting him back, the Falcons need an heir to Ryan, and the Bears still need a QB with Dalton and Foles. Even the Eagles could upgrade over Hurts with him.

I think there's now also a solid chance that 1 or 2 of Lance, Jones or Fields could fall to 19 now.

Draft order, teams who could take QBs bolded:

Jacksonville Jaguars - TREVOR LAWRENCE
New York Jets - ZACH WILSON
San Francisco 49ers (from Miami via Houston) - MAC JONES OR TREY LANCE

Atlanta Falcons - MATT RYAN, LIKELY TRADING OR DRAFTING TE PITTS
Cincinnati Bengals - J'MARR CHASE OR SEWELL
Miami Dolphins (from Philadelphia) - SEWELL OR CHASE
Detroit Lions - RUMORED TO WANT CHASE, MAY TRADE UP TO 4
Carolina Panthers -HAVE DARNOLD, NO QB PICK
Denver Broncos - BRIDGEWATER, NO QB PICK
Dallas Cowboys - IF THEY DON'T GO DEFENSE, THEY'RE IDIOTS
New York Giants - LIKELY WR OR DEFENSE
Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami via San Francisco) - SAY HURTS IS THE MAN, LIKELY WR
Los Angeles Chargers - SET WITH HERBERT
Minnesota Vikings - CAN'T AFFORD TO MOVE ON FROM COUSINS, NO QB PICK
New England Patriots - POSSIBLE QB PICK, LIKELY LANCE IF AVAILABLE
Arizona Cardinals - SET WITH MURRAY
Las Vegas Raiders - SET WITH CARR
Miami Dolphins - NOT TAKING QB
Washington Redskins...JONES, LANCE OR FIELDS COULD BE AVAILABLE

I think this scenario is likely but I would not count out Philly taking Fields if he is there

That's fine, he's the one I DON'T want.

They have NO ONE playing WR though and this class is DEEEEEP at WR in the 1st.

I think they or the Giants will draft Waddle. The Lions could settle for him if they can't move up to beat the Bengals to J'Marr Chase. Devonta Smith is in play for the Dolphins and these teams too.
