Apparently they're talking to Jason Simmons in LV, and Raiders gave permission. Whitt worked with him in GB.

I’m exciting to have Whitt. I think Forbes could have a breakout season with real coaching.

This comment isn’t good enough from Jamf.

You got any thirst pics of his wife/girlfriend?

Frenchy is on the verge of losing his European Command Post title.

Jamf like:

Exciting all over the place.

And that's not good enough for Chico. Good call-out Anon!!

Crazy how fucked up this franchise has been and we still have nothing but great football friends from across the pond. Europeans must be the greatest sports fans in the world or somehow this sad-sack franchise got the cream of the crop.

Let me know when Forbes has gained 25 pounds of muscle and is willing to hit somebody. Then he might be able to become a player of note.

Forbes will have at least 3 picks this year, book it!

Forbes obviously didn't come along as one would have hoped, but for now I'm chalking it up to coaching. I don't remember him shying away from contact though.

He had 1 in six starts last year, so I'd say that's a safe bet if he plays more.

I don't think interceptions necessarily work in that order. I think lots of guys have 1 pick, don't think there are many with 3 picks each year.

Only 24 guys had 4+.

Re: Welcome Joe Whitt Jr. (DC)

Yeah, I wasn't insinuating there was a set ratio of interceptions to games played, I'm just saying if he gets more playing time my bet is he will probably have more INTs...maybe 2 more...? Maybe?

Anyway there were 43 players with at least 3 INTs last year.

Here's to Forbes being No. 44, or replacing guys on the current list.

I liked the Forbes pick at the time, so it could just be my pride, but I think he can definitely be successful in 2024.

Quinn/Whitt>>>>>> 2023 staff

Quinn has coached good defenses and Whitt has coached good secondaries. And it's a passing league now. We might fuck around and have at least a league average D in 2024.

Note - According to Wiki, our 2023 secondary coach was Cristian Garcia. No actual wikipedia page. But, don't want to pin anything on him either, he wasn't in charge.

Re: Welcome Joe Whitt Jr. (DC)

I hope he gets a chance and balls out. The more likely scenario is he'll be a backup because we went out and got some dudes - either in the draft or free agency (or both).

But I agree 100% that Quinn/Whitt>>>>>> 2023 staff.

Christian Garcia was probably RR's nephew.

When I think about his potential, I am constantly reminded of Darrel green saying that he def thought it was a coaching issue.

Re: Welcome Joe Whitt Jr. (DC)

I think every returning player on the roster come camp will be a potentially different story this year. I have no doubt this new staff will be a step up, whether it's capability, chemistry, leadership or any combination thereof. That gives everyone a better chance to excel than before. There are guys that we already know should show up (Scary, Allen, Payne, Cosmi etc.) and players I/we'd like to see step up like Forbes, Martin, St-Juste, Davis, Hudson, Dotson, Brown. We should get a clearer picture who the staff see as sticking once FA rolls around, but hopefully we get a bit aggressive on edge, LB and OL in FA.
