Re: R.I.P. thread
So much for the "stand you ground Law". No it's not the reason this happen I know that but to allow anyone to carry a gun around at anytime will do nothing but start trouble.

Re: R.I.P. thread
When dealing with mentally unstable people, it is so hard to come up with a valid solution to handling it properly and not stepping on their rights, that we are all so lucky to enjoy. Most people with mental issues don't commit violence, but there is a higher % that do, than the overall citizenry. I honestly don't know what the answer is, but in terms of government spending, I'm becoming more and more for spending whatever is necessary to find the best possible solution. Its so sad what happened. What should have been a great event for people that enjoy those type tournaments turned into a nightmare for everyone there. Especially the people who lost someone they cared about. It just sucks.

R.I.P. Marty Balin
Jefferson Airplane was a truly great American Band of the 60's and 70's . I wasn't a great admirer of the later incarnations of the band but I can remember them at Woodstock ,I was not there, I was 10 but they were one of the "big ones there" .Grace Slick when she was young was hot! https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/...inity_20180929 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEceU_FlgDg

Willie McCovey. Retired 1980 so I would have been 4. Would have loved to see him and Mays in the same outfield. |
