Both their lines are suspect. Not much pressure from their Dline. Their LB corps is slow and undisciplined. Bobby Wagner is a good player but the 31 yrs old are starting to show. What I like for us is that Heinicke has always been very comfortable throwing in the middle of the field AND he's shown signs of massive improvement in anticipation throws... which matches really well with the holes in their zones, slow LBs not taking enough depth and safeties taking too much will give us opportunities like this one: Also, I'm happy that we've cleaned up our blown coverage issues by week 12, it seems they still have theirs: On offense, Locket is fast and Metcalf will catch some balls, but their Oline is struggling. I think the right side of their line has issues with stunts, I would call quite a lot of those. 2 examples below (I had seen another one earlier in the game but couldn't find it back): We're a slight favorite in this one, and if we can keep Wilson under pressure, I see no reason why we can't win a 3rd in a row ! Let's go !

We are not good enough to have trap games.

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
I really hope we continue to make that commitment to the run. 95 yards versus the best run defense in Tampa and 190 yards versus a legit Panther D
The best way to elevate TH is to support him with a ground game. Also I like how Turner been scheming it lately. Samuel back could add a wrinkle in it as well. Also te blocking seems to be better this year…the rookie Bates can block his ass off.

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
We barely got past a Giants team with a bum at QB, but we're gonna get past Seattle with a future Hall Of Famer, don't fall for that[bad finger]stuff, Wilson will be waiting for us!

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
Larsen and Cosmi are out. At this rate the OLine is going to have to keep pulling rabbits out of their helmets.

I thought both did ok last week anyway. Maybe with a full week of training Schweitzer gets the nod at C?

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
Oh for sure he's been nothing but very solid for us at G. I'm just wondering if he starts over Ismael at C because he's the better player, or if he sits because having a high quality swing back up G is quite valuable...

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
Not a whole lot can change in 10 weeks. We're still the same team we were at the beginning of the season.

I hope this is a fluke year with Cosmi. He is always getting beat up and hurt.

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
So, if (when) Washington beats Seattle they will move into the 7th seed in the playoff race... I'm experiencing déjà vu.
