Re: Birds Post game
These are the types of games that we've lost in the past because we can't score early. We're going to have tougher games, but some of the mistakes we've seen today should go away as new players like Smith, AP, and PRich get more reps/acquainted with current players.

Re: Birds Post game
Win at home next week in a game they SHOULD win, and I will say this team has turned a corner. Definitely enjoying this win, but not going to get too giddy about it.

There are no games we are supposed to win. I would not have been surprised in the least if we lost. Sorry just being honest. |

Re: Birds Post game
We focused on stopping David Johnson like we should have. We didn’t need to bring pressure

Re: Birds Post game
That was a great win. Good start to the season.
Defense looked legit. Great against the run and fantastic in coverage. I assume the lack of pressure was due to game plan to limit Johnson. My biggest concern though is that our 3 most productive players on offense are also the most likely to get injured at some point in the season. I sure hope Smith and his WRs get something going soon. Re: Birds Post game
Was so nice to watch a game in which I wasn't getting a sick feeling like the 'skins were going to give the game away. Ball control really helped. Our secondary played well.

Re: Birds Post game
Team looked good. I'm happy to see a big start of the season unlike the previous years where it took us 3 games to get going. Not to mention this was on the road too so that's even better.
My only issues: Where is the pass rush? AP fumbling is something I was worried about previously and here he is fumbling in game one. Luckily we had a comfortable lead this time. Penalties. Generally a sign of undisciplined team.

Re: Birds Post game
I saw a play in the 2nd half Settle got pushed off the ball then pushed his guy back into the middle of the line clogging up 3 guys and the running back had his hole close up.
I like our dline rotation. Gotta get more pass rush but i think we played to stop d johnson and see if bradford could beat us. |

Per Keim:
Quinn and Sims to have MRI’s on their ankles, hopefully is nothing serious cause we are missing Harris too.

I’m more worried about why Doctson is terrible at WR, P Rich missed his deep target, and crowder doesn’t look 100%...is he injuried? WR need to play better |

Rich got held, I feel like he would’ve made that catch. WR has always been a weak spot, when was the last time we had a WR that made another team nervous? Jackson? Moss? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
