Re: Around the NFL Week 15
What a surprise...
Wonder if this makes Chargers (LA market) a better option for a top coach than us come January? |

Pros: team has a established QB and offensive weapons (K. Allen Ekeler, etc.,. etc.). They also have key players in the defense (Bosa, etc., etc.). Cons: tough division, win-now expectations, coach/GM will need to work with existing roster/players.

There's a lot more work to be done here in my opinion before this team is a contender. LA just needs a HC who can get out of his own way. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
The owner there has a bit of a reputation for being cheap when it comes to hiring coaches. Could have had Sean Payton last year. I don't know Harris' record on hiring when it comes to paying coaches but that will play a part and may make good candidates think twice about the Chargers, that and the fact they will always be the junior partner to the Rams whilst they share that stadium

Chargers have had relative success compared to our team. We are going to be in a rebuilding mode, and I don't think anyone realistically expects our team to be a playoff contender right away. I'm not saying we shouldn't, but the new Chargers HC will have a shorter leash since they are not rebuilding and have seen recent success. And yes, the new GM/HC here will need to work with existing players, but the advantage of being on rebuild mode is that there are no realistic expectations to keep any player. I highly doubt that a new Chargers GM/Coach will be able to easily move on from Herbert or Bosa, whereas the new GM/Coach here will be able to do pretty much anything with the existing roster.

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
The colts have also turned their franchise around in a very short time span. It’s all about Coaching and QB play. Mindshew has been awesome lately.
Sam Howell is going to be legit if they can build around him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
Tonight could be a good one. Would be a big victory for either team. All of the AFC will be rooting for Jacksonville except Ravens' fans.

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
Jaguars actively trying to lose. 2 missed FGs, unforced fumble, then threw short of the endzone.
