aceinthehouse -- It's insane to waste picks on backup defenses, kickers, and TEs. You take someone off the waiver wire in the weeks with bye problems. It's much more beneficial to be gambling on late rounders like Naanee, Aromashodu etc. You can also take big backs' handcuffs like Javon Ringer and Bernard Scott.

on your squad: i really like this team minus the rbs. i mean they are solid, just not spectacular like the rest of the team. if spiller steps up you will really be in business.

Re: So how did I do on my FF League?
WTF, here is my $$$ league team. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.
It's a 12 team league, with 2 keepers; 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, TE, K, Def. I hated drafting Romo but passing TDs are worth 6pts in our league and he was around in the 5th so I felt like I had to even though I was keeping Ryan for an 8th (dumb move by me). NMorgansFistofFury 1. (3) Maurice Jones-Drew (Jac - RB) 2. (22) Greg Jennings (GB - WR) 3. (27) Marques Colston (NO - WR) 4. (46) Jonathan Stewart (keeper) (Car - RB) 5. (51) Tony Romo (Dal - QB) 6. (70) Jeremy Maclin (Phi - WR) 7. (75) Reggie Bush (NO - RB) 8. (94) Matt Ryan (keeper) (Atl - QB) 9. (99) Owen Daniels (Hou - TE) 10. (118) San Francisco (SF - DEF) 11. (123) Nate Burleson (Det - WR) 12. (142) Rashad Jennings (Jac - RB) (MJD handcuff) 13. (147) Josh Morgan (SF - WR) 14. (166) Marshawn Lynch (Buf - RB) 15. (171) Adam Vinatieri (Ind - K)

Re: So how did I do on my FF League?
Here's my $$ league squad, feel like I'm solid but a little weak at WR, need to watch the early waiver wire:
QB: Favre, Roethlisberger RB: Mathews, S. Jackson, Moreno, Spiller WR: S. Smith (NYG), TJ Houshmandzadeh, J. Knox, Berrian, Doucet TE: Cooley, Miller K: Bironas DEF: San Diego |

I'm probably also going to grab a new kicker. I don't really care who I get since that position is such a crap shoot.

Re: So how did I do on my FF League?
Here is one of my teams. It's a 12 team PPR league, I had the 3rd pick. I feel pretty good about it, just have to see how things pan out with MJD:
Schaub, Matt QB HOU Austin, Miles WR DAL Jones-Drew, Maurice RB JAC Addai, Joseph RB IND Bradshaw, Ahmad RB NYG Gates, Antonio TE SD Gould, Robbie K CHI Titans DST Jennings, Rashad RB JAC Jones, Thomas RB KC McFadden, Darren RB OAK Snelling, Jason RB ATL Jones, Jacoby WR HOU Knox, Johnny WR CHI Moore, Lance WR NO Rice, Sidney WR MIN Royal, Eddie WR DEN Also the order above is not the order that I drafted them. |

dont sweat your kicker too much, just make sure you have a guy on a team. after that, they are all essentially the same.

Thanks for the assessment.I'm definitely thin on the 2's and 3's, especially at RB. The way the league works is you have 5 skill positions where 1 has to be WR and 1 has to be a RB. The other 3 can be any combo of RB/WR/TE. I also have a good feeling about Jones as well and if Cutler can pick up that offense in Chicago, Knox could blow up. |

good young talent at rb, it's by far your best position. the wrs are a bit thin. smith and hoosh are serviceable, but you better hope berrian and favre start to connect, or knox steps up his game. i am not high on s.smith this year, but hopefully he can pull through for you, except against this skins of course. is this a 12 team league?
