One of many reasons why BPA is never a wrong choice. Injuries in football happen every single week. Our defense is already struggling, glad we have a capable option available for increased snaps.

As has been said elsewhere, Newton is a more of a pass rusher than a run stopper. It'll be a rotation, but as they've been getting more out of Mathis this season, it's time for both of them to step up. And Payne. And at least for now, it's ended the talk of trading Allen.
