Re: Around the NFL Week 4

I think our offense is probably better than what we saw in the giants game and worse than what we saw in the cincy game (both starting DTs out, 0-3 team).

If JD completes 90% of his passes,we may never lose again. More likely he takes some hits here and Defense has some (more) struggles. Ekeler has been great as a checkdown and on blitz pickup, so he might be missed.

I do feel like we've got a shot in every game (assuming week 3 wasn't a fluke). May Tress Way's wage theft continue.

Its funny how before the season started Tress was probably our star player; JD5 took his number and never lets him play anymore

Dallas is not very good. The Eagles are the team to beat in the NFCE. If we had a defense we would be

I had a nice parlay with the Giants covering, CD Lamb and Nabors both getting one touchdown. I'm still shocked that Nabors didn't get any end zone one time

Had Daniels +200 yards, Nabors +70 yards, and lamb +90 yard

Had a free token from FD and cashed it. (That never happens)

Interesting stat here from the eagles game:

Hurts’ turnover streak continues. He has turned the ball over an NFL-high seven times this season (four interceptions; three lost fumbles).

The back end of that defense got smoked by Baker as well.

Tampa and Baker look legit this year at 3-1. Meantime, Cleveland and their preferred Watson are 1-3. Tampa is off to a strong start.

The only reason the browns haven't gone to Winston yet is because of that stupid contract Watson got

Anyone impressed with O'Connell and Vikings? No one would have ever guessed that the Vikings would play well with Darnold. And to think, Rivera chose Turner over O'Connell....

Looks like Darnold has got w/ the right coach and sometimes that's all it takes.

I think they look legit, and right now they are probably the team to beat in the NFC, along with the Bucs. Good to see QBs like Darnold and Baker get their shot in good situations, after being part of so many dysfunctional organizations.

Also, Rivera could have kept O'Connell and we still would have failed because of the owner. No offense, but this sh*t of lamenting what could have happened is a bit irrelevant and tiresome, since this team would have never succeeded because of Snyder.

Great point.. No offense taken - I understand why it looks like I'm lamenting on the past (if you know me personally, you would know I'm not that kind of person). I was just saying how bad Rivera messed up on this part (along with other parts).

It's too early to say this, but I think the Snyder debacle could be a blessing in disguise as it led us to the position we are in right now with a competent owner and possibly a franchise QB in JD.

Don't think I could ever classify "the Snyder debacle" as a blessing of any sort. More like two and a half decades of fan purgatory.

Hopefully, all of us who stuck it out are seeing the beginnings of a long overdue turnaround where the Football Gods make it right and we dominate the NFL for just as long.
