Why even have that shit to begin with? It's unnecessary.

Is it necessary? Of course not. But if you want to use their services, and want a way to keep it secure, this is an alternative way. If your account is jeopardized, SMS is one way to get your account unlocked.
I not only did the above, but I went into my Yahoo Account settings and deleted the phone number as well.

Security is not their main objective when they gather your personal info.

Perhaps PMs should be sent out to participants from past years. We need more players.
To those of you who don't want to give your phone number, just do what BDBohnzie said: reply 'stop' to that number, then delete it from your account. |

I'm in. Iowa State over Michigan in the finals.... Warren Buffet will call to thank me for not having that bracket in his sweepstakes and taking his billion dollars.

Re: Warpath Tourney Pick'em 2014
I've got Iowa State over San Diego State in the Finals. Here's to Melvin Ejim staying healthy; if he goes down, Iowa State's chances are slim indeed. And San Diego State isn't really a Finals-caliber team, but they looked like the better team in every game I picked, so there's that. In the Final Four, I have Florida-Iowa State and Duke-San Diego State. My Round of 64 upsets: BYU over Oregon, Harvard over Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh over Colorado.

Re: Warpath Tourney Pick'em 2014
No, f*** Dayton. I don't like Ohio State either, but I had them picked to win.
F*** Oregon as well; I like them better than BYU, but I had the latter winning. |

Re: Warpath Tourney Pick'em 2014
Amazing first day, thats why the tourney is the best. 4 OT games? 2 12-5 upsets, 1 11-6 upset, almost a 13-4 upset. Folks the game has changed, the mid majors are now competing to win in every game. Seeds 5 through 12 games are basically coin flips.
St. Loius vs NC State comeback from 16 was incredible. I was channel flipping between that game and the St Joes vs UConn. Both amazing. A-10 teams can ball with every conference
