Re: Commanders vs Da Bears gameday thread
I doubt I pack it in for the season, but it did cross my mind after the Bears last TD. We know this staff is done short of the playoffs or playoffs win, so I kinda feel like casually watching the remainder of the season.

While that probably should happen....I honestly don't think that is going to happen until the end of the season

Re: Commanders vs Da Bears gameday thread
Not sure why everyone is acting like they just did this to the Chiefs. That would be stunning. We could very easily be 0-4. Very easily. We have a shit oline. A shit defense. A shit coaching staff. And a quarterback that seems to be extremely inconsistent to say the least. Im surprised at how bad they kicked our ass but not at all that we are losing. And honestly this team wasn’t a playoff team before this game and certainly not after this game. Our HC is a dead man walking. Ill take the lumps for one more year for the high pick. Caleb Williams or Drake Maye and a competent staff. I know it sucks to hear but next year is year one of a new era.

Re: Commanders vs Da Bears gameday thread
I’m glad I was there during the Redskins glory days … I’m not sure Washington will ever experience that again.. this is nothing but a damn expansion team anyway .. this is what happens when you strip a team of its past and history .. no pride whatsoever..

Re: Commanders vs Da Bears gameday thread
I don't believe it. Unless, Rivera is told to fire JDR then no one will be fired. I don't see Rivera getting fired until after the season. The only way he's fired in-season is if things really unravel the next couple of weeks. Like tonight's unraveling.

Only person getting fired is Chase Pool. Nobody on our team sadly.

Re: Commanders vs Da Bears gameday thread
Exactly! The owners hands were tied, so they couldn't do anything that late in the ballgame. I doubt they sit on their hands with Rivera.

Commanders vs Da Bears gameday thread
Quote:
Come on Rik. Snyder left this past summer. The guy hasn’t had one true off season. I knew this year was going to be more of the same. It feels good Snyder left but feeling good doesn’t win games. A new staff does. A real gm does. New players do. We can have all that now because people will come work for Harris. But that was never going to happen in August so it was never going to happen this year. Just wait until he cleans house. It will be an entire new staff and FO next year. Anyone who thought Josh Harris standing in the box was going to right the ship by itself was wearing serious rose colored glasses. Dude has to get his people in house. He will. For 2024. Trust me. |
