Re: Dwayne Haskins
I'm not sure Snyder's treatment of RG3 had anything to do with Cousins not wanting to be a Redskin. I think it was more of Cousins not liking Bruce Allen and going somewhere to get PAID.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
My goal is to never talk about Kirk Cousins again after this comment:
Fuck that pussy! We have Haskins, and until proven otherwise, pass me the fucking kool-aid, he is going to be a baller for us.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
Cousins is a smart guy. He knows Dan and Bruce simply can not be trusted. They're both losers when it comes to having success in the NFL.
Let's just hope Dan and Bruce don't ruin this kid. My concern is Dan will act like fan boy again since it's his hand picked player. Hopefully he doesn't turn into Jason Campbell and have a new offense to learn every year. This just isn't a model organization, especially for a young QB trying to learn his way. |

Re: Dwayne Haskins
Can't blame a guy for taking $27M a year.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
The way I see it, Cousins and his agent figured out how to beat the NFL system, not just the Skins management. If they tag you, just take the money and figure out the rest later. If they are stupid enough to tag you again next season (for a lot more money), just take the money and figure out the rest later. By then, your current team is into you for so much money they're screwed no matter what they do. Just don't do a long term deal with your current team that is structured in a way that allows them get any of that money back.
So yes, Matty. Cousins did just want to get paid. It was strictly business. |

Re: Dwayne Haskins
I think it had alot to do with it . Snyder hand picked RGIII Shanahan in turn drafted Cousin who thought he could start somewhere else or at least have a better chance of playing ,I got the feeling he liked the Skins but all so felt like a pawn between Snyder and the HC ,glade he got paid it's still a business.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
We still discussing KC?
He plays a violent sport where his replacement and his replacements replacement had their careers ended within a couple of week. KC worked the system and deserves a lot of credit for being a better salesman than QB. You don't get what you are worth, you get what you negotiate. Good luck with your future Kirk and go F... yourself! |

Re: Dwayne Haskins
Kirk strikes me as more of a "ME" guy than a "TEAM" guy. But in all fairness to Kirk I am coming from a weird place of wanting him to fail. So take this with a grain of salt. But fail or not he has already been paid, he already has a shit load of great "stats", (not so many wins, but great stats) so he could walk away from the game today and live like a king for the rest of his life.
