Re: Winning
You all are ridiculous. Acosta was way over the line AS HE HAS BEEN.
Trump talked with the press for 90 minutes. I assume he answered a lot of questions including the basic comments abouts sessions his cabinet russia etc, but Acosta goes beyond the pale to the point of making an intern have to try and grab for a mike because he wants to be whatever. Other reporters clearly asked a lot of various questions in 90 minutes and CNN's reporter goes fucking loony and Trump tries to be civil ( watch it before you mock) and Acosta acts like a spoiled self righteous brat Like i said they should have pulled his credentials (not CNNs) long ago |

You assume because you didn’t actually watch or listen? That would explain the fact that you do not realize how absolutely absurd you sound painting Acosta as the bully and Trump as the victim. Just stop dude. Stick to policy. Because when you start arguing about civility and respect and self righteous spoiled brats you are going to lose. Bad. |

Re: Winning
Its nothing to do with him being the victim. Its that you have no problem with Acosta's behavior and tone but are then absolutely appalled when Trump responds in kind. And this is not a one time event. This is Acosta's shtick.
In general, Trump needs to respond more calmly. But I can't blame him in how he deals with Acosta.

Look bottomline is Trump isnt going to come out and say " whoaaa. Ya got me* i am reminded of a few good men when demi moore gets up and strenuously obects, and the other actor asks oh is that how it works i object overruled ... i strenuously object oh my god your right. No you object once to make the point, doing it more makes it look like your afraid. I dont care if they ask trump the hard questions, they should but acting butt hurt when he moves on and not giving up the mike makes them look like idiots too. |

It is a race baiting question, because it has been asked and answered and the simple purpose of asking is to keep alive the implication that he is a racist. |

'I am a nationalist': Trump's embrace of controversial label sparks uproar
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...al/1748521002/ Look, if you’re going to use that term you should be able to calmly and respectfully explain your position. Acting annoyed with the question and straight up dismissing it as racist was a total cop out. |

Re: Winning
Or maybe journalists could stop assuming evil intent and help our nation heal by looking to positive reasons ie nationalism vs globalism instead the halcyon cry of racism.
Maybe when nearly half the country sees it a way other than they do and they want to be seen as helpers not haters they can report the more likely/less sinister motives of the general base and not try to exacerbate the division. All the main politicians today ON both sides and including Trump laid out places where the parties can and likely will work together, and after as divisive a race as we just had on both sides thats a great thing, maybe the press could have followed suit for a day or two. Maybe. |
