Funny because just a couple of years ago so many people were all "Oh man, look at the Bucs! They're 10-6. They turned things around so quickly! Why can't we???? Blah, blah blah"

I am not a Debbie Downer and generally have supported MS and company but it is time this team HIS team steps up and don't give me the well he has a rookie QB. The god damn rookie QB is the only reason the MS turd even has two wins.
Love how when a QB struggles it's all because of the coaches but a QB does well and it's in spite of the coaches

Honestly how the fawk did the defense get worst from last year? Much worst for the matter.
Key injuries for one. But more importantly, offenses didn't have to try as hard last year to outscore our offense

Look at the penalties that are killing us...that is coaching plain and simple.
Ravens and Steelers (two perennial AFC powerhouses) have more penalties per game than we do.

I fear MS and KS realize this maybe their last hooray and will literally run Bob into the ground to save their necks.
****ing idiotic. What the **** did you draft RG3 for if not to use his ****ing talents. This whole "they run RG3" too much is ****ing stupid.

Want get MAD really MAD??? Think about in the last decade how many number one draft picks (top ten ones at that) we blew on the secondary and now it is our weakest link! FAWK! (I know not really MS and companies fault but still burns me).
Let's rehash the Carlos debate

Big lead? Don't worry we'll blow it.
Been stopping the deep ball finally? Don't worry, they'll connect.
Got a decent drive going? Don't worry, we'll get a penalty to stop or just fizzle on 3rd down.

I know it's victory monday but the debbie downers have finally gotten to me I think. MS has had 3 years. This should have been a "put them away win". Tired of games coming down to the last series. Strangely, I don't think next week's will. Other than RGIII & Morris, I just don't see much to be positive about this team (okay, Kerrigan also).

Unlike others, I got no problem with the offensive play calling. The scheme seems solid but the stupid penalities need to stop. On D, come'on boys cover somebody. Next week R. White and J. Jones are going to be running free.

I can't believe how depressed I am on the day after a win. Help!
Im trying to pretend that i dont remember thinking these things and hide in a victorious monday morning but it is true. We are two and two but probably should be 1-3 and on top of that this was one of two easy games left on the schedule.

This has got to change, especially if we are going to continue to have issues with the defense. We can't give teams the opportunity to come back, and we've seen that happen in 3 games.

Also, I just saw that we are first for most penalties (37) and tied for first in penalty yds (356), this has to change.
I think it goes back to staying out of 3rd and longs. And that ties in with the penalties too.

Amazing when you think about it that we've still been able to overcome that and put up all the points we have.

Bob looked better than ok. Especially if we remember he was playing in his fourth game. Of course its easy to forget he is a rookie when watching him so.....

Penalties bother me, but the stupid emotional ones really burn me up. The Garcon personal foul and Clipping penalty killed 2 drives the second half. That is unacceptable and shows no discipline. How could you be so stupid and selfish after the Morgan play? There needs to be more accountability. Shanny should rip those guys for that garbage.

Or maybe we should be 3-1? I'd be more upset if we were playing really smart (i.e. no silly penalties) and struggling to get our offense going.

You know we just want to see quality football rite? Lets stop the in-fighting. We are probably alot closer to the bottom of the barrel than the top of it After almost blowing that game am i supposed to stick my chest out and play httr all day because we snuck out a close one against a bad team? Im happy we won because it allows me to dream still that we are going to make some noise this year but i also realize that we were about six inches from being the same old redskins and now we get the falcons, ravens, steelers and six against the nfc east. So at the end of the year are you even going to give a crap you beat the 5-11 bucs in a clise one? Lol. There were problems even in the win there were problems. And its ok to hash them out in a discussion thread about the game without having to be called a debbie downer or cry baby. Jeez-

Yup, let me be clear I love this board. I think you and Matty both do a bang up job and if not for this board I probably have given up on the Skins awhile ago.

With that said I think you are putting lipstick on a pig.

Even you said a few days back you got tired of the Wizards and their management and basically gave up on them. Some of us on here today kind of feel the same about the Skins right now (though I am not giving up; I am more or less saying I am disappointed in the product).

I have made very valid points so be it and you have a right to your opinion so be that but when the day is done I bet 99% of this board is not happy at where the Skins are right now in year 3 of MS and company. I think if this ship was on course we should be 4-o or 3-1 at this point considering our schedule thus far.

I only cuaght a quick glimpse of the clipping penaltgy but it seemed sorta iffy to me. Looked like he tripped into him. Am I wrong about that?

These are the type of penalties I was referring to. That is a reflection of coaching. IMO.

I do like the fact that we have had a LOT of big plays on offense, something that this team was sorely lacking. I was a bit surprised about penalty and penalty yards, although I am sure some of it has to do with the replacement refs. Still, given all the offensive production, I feel that this team has a lot of potential and it is a frustrating to see that 3rd down conversion percentage.

Maybe we should be 4-0 actually. Im just being real - i see an offense that if garcon can stay healthy and smart is going to be ferocious by the end of the year. If i had to lay money on the line though SS and pick a record im saying 5-11 maybe 6-10. I mean the Bucs arent good. We trashed their run d - but i already knew we had a good run game. I am in love with our offense. My two biggest problems with the team are of course the secondary - who hung in there yesterday and gave me faint hope on that end but mainly is ms and ks taking their foot off the gas when we should be putting nails in coffins. Its as if they dont realize what they have in rg3 yet?

I believe it was Kory L and i didnt see a trip. The Oline was getting out to block Polumbus's side and in the flow to get to the outside he was beat and went right at the back of his knees taking the guy out. I thought it was a pretty clear call.

The clip was by Will Montgomery.
