I'm not concerned about tape on the Skins, we do have tape on their defense as well. I mean we're not talking about the Ravens' D now. I think we beat the dog shiggity out of the rams.

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

Here's my no-bullshit, straight up prediction. I think it will be a close game, RG3 or not the Rams always play us close. 24-20 Redskins (I can't pick them to lose.) Just like last week, it will be a close game in the 4th quarter, but ultimately we end up on the winning side. RG3 won't have the game he had last week, but he will still do enough to win. Rams keep it close with timely plays on both offense and defense.

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

As others have pointed out, this team needs to learn how to close out an opponent.......
We can score points with this squad...thus we have the luxury of learning how to close.
Skins 34......21
NO Cardiac sh... down to the wire.

I dont ever want to see Cousins play a meaningful snap in the b&g. I dont care how nice of a qb he turns out to be he was no Griffin in college and he will be no griffin in the pros. Not sure why uou even posed that question????

They said the same thing about Tom Brady and quite a few other QBs drafted later in the draft. Griffin could turn out to be a bust and Cousins a 3 time super bowl winner. Doubtful, but you really can't sit here and say anything of the sort at this particular time. I'm happy to have both of our QBs on the squad.

Re: Redskins vs Rams predictions

Cousins is unproven since the preseason means nothing (Colt Brennan, anyone?). I have been a Cousins doubter since before the draft but no one knows for sure, either positively or negatively. I hope that Gryphon stays so healthy that we never truly find out about Cousins.

You have to go back and look at the response which led to my comment. I have seen Cousins play in college - alot, and preseason - at this particular time I can absolutely say what I said..........lol. I feel very, very strongly that Griffin was, is, and will always be a better qb than Kirk Cousins. I do not feel like I am going out on a limb by saying so. Again though - I made a comment about the score of the game being a lopsided win by the redskins and said as long as RG 3 stays healthy sky is the limit for this team. Than someone quoted me and asked if I had seen Kirk Cousins play? lmao.

How does a fairly obvious statement about RG-3 being really good raise this following statement? (I clearly said RG-3 is not the only valuable player - but I dont think anyone in the world who has ever rooted for the Redskins is thinking about how good Kirk Cousins is rite now......lol

Have you seen Kirk C play? He may well prove to be a.....Steal in this draft.

Im not taking anything away from cousins - i hope he turns out to be a really good qb and nets us a first rounder down the road. I also realize ,NC Skins and Hog 1, that rg3 might get hurt or just not be as good as he appears. However the one thing i am most positive about rite now on the eve of rg3 week two is that kirk cousins is probably the last redskin on my mind about now.

Just how I really see is. Fisher has already had a QB like Griffin recently (Young) so he'll know how to play defense to stop him. Will he shut him down? Probably not, but I think he'll cause some problems.

Not to mention the Rams secondary isn't terrible, they could force a turnover today. RGIII could have had two in New Orleans, this week if he gambles I think he turns the ball over.

Think we'll have it 28-14, maybe even 28-7 at some point, but as usual they'll try to sit on the lead and the Rams will comeback, just won't be able to finish (like last year).

Obviously I'd love to see us demolish them, but we'll see.
