Barf Canes. I lost $50 on that game too. I like home dogs, and Pitt getting 4.5 at home against Miami on a short week playing back to back road games.... Oh well. I was 6 of 7 betting this season prior to tonight. Hopefully I'm not running into a cold streak.

Both Pitt and Miami suck this season. Miami looked ok, but Pitt was so awful, you really can't tell if Miami is good or not. Wannestedt is going to be unemployed after this season I think. He did wonders to bring the program back, but I think he has gotten as far as he can. He has no QB and absolutely no O line to work with.

I doubt that( at least 6 could kill Boise). This is a down year for the SEC thus far if you can say that. Georgia sucks, the schools from Mississippi have downgraded it seems. With that said only Bama, Ark, Fla, and LSU could beat the hell out of Boise. Old ball coach at S. Carolina could beat Boise too, but it won't be a whoopin'. Boise St never has had any right to a real BCS game, nor will they ever, playingt hat BS schedule they do. Whether in the old Mountain West or the revamped WAC, that level of competiton was a joke. Remember Hawaii vs Georgia in the Sugar Bowl a few years back? That being said, Boise is still a pretty decent team, just really not ready to be a major power just yet. THe ACC in football, is to the SEC what t he MAC is to the Big Ten, a minor league, so even if t hey did beat Va Tech, it wouldn't have proven they belonged.

I believe South Carolina and Auburn could beat Boise by 10+

Great games today. LSU getting after WVU, with Auburn - South Carolina and Bama - Ark as the games of the day. Another great day for college's best conference.

A star is born for Florida with true freshman Trey Burton scoring 6 touchdowns against previously unbeaten Kentucky.

LSU, Florida, Arkansas, Auburn, Bama, and South Carolina would all smoke Boise State. What a bunch of pretenders.

Bama vs Ark was a great game, watched it as I worked on the house. SEC does have the best games in amature football it seems, much better than the pee-wee ACC conference. Couldnt help though thinking though; they should have called this game the Quitters Bowl. Who was more of a pussy? Saban or Patrino? Both these guys quit cause they couldnt compete on a professional level and both lied about leavin, giving it the silent treatment as they tucked tail between legs and quietly tried to exit. Of course you can look to another SEC coach Spurrier who did it the true quitters way, he just came out and said it, he couldnt hack coaching professionals. But I respect that alot more than Petrino and Saben. God bless amature football, where you dont have to be a good coach, you just got to be a good recruiter.

Guess we learned why Texas didn't want to join the Pac-10 next year...

i know i'm a little late to the party but if you want to talk about pure blind homerism look no further than vatech fan. year in and year out they think they will win the national championship and year in and year out they crap the bed like always. they are a damn good team but they aren't the greatest. and right now i wouldn't be surprised to see tech lose two more maybe three. they are just too inexperienced right now. and nc state, the u, ga tech and unc are all damn good teams this year and each have a solid chance at beating tech

as far as boise st vs sec goes, it's football and you never really know. right now if i were betting i would take bama(even tho i effing hate bama), ark, and auburn over them, and prob take fla too, especially at home.

and on a side note am i the only one who thinks it should be against some sort of rule for them to paint their feild blue? it is so f-ing annoying you can't watch but two minutes of that crap before turning it off, it's almost as annoying as trying to read a post on es
