I heard the same things but the wife still wanted the front load Washer and Dryer so I'm no help. We have had ours about 3 yrs with no issues. Knock on wood. We just purchase all new kitchen stuff but the builder buys the frig at closing as a closing gift.

FWIW, for a business i worked with a couple of years ago. I purchased a Scratch and Dent stackable LG washer/dryer. We ran them literally 12 hours a day 7 days a week. At last count of 18 months service.....still ok

Yeah LG seems to be a good choice with their Direct Drive system.

any suggestions? I want spend about 1500 to 2000 on a washer and dryer and 2000 to 3000 on the fridge. Like the fridge to be a french door style with freezer on bottom.

I have a front loader, not sure of the brand but it was a cheaper model. I dont really like them, but i had to get mine because it was stackable and i needed the space. Besides having to bend over to do laundry the other thing that really sucks is that you cant close the door all they way when not in use because it will smell like mold inside if you do. I dont think its pertinent to my model either, because all front loaders have to make a water tight seal.

Also make sure your dryer is compatable to the outlet you have installed. Probably a 4 prong if its new construction.

I stumbled across this device recently and decided to try it out, makes an amazing cup of coffee and it's super easy to use. My french press is going in the garbage.

iPad Keyboard Case | ClamCase Pro

Picked one of these up to demo for our field scientists. A bit heavy, but otherwise the best iPad case you can buy.

Re: Pimp That Product

Bluetooth speaker....Ive had a couple small ones but looking for next level and want better sound

Ive read reviews saying the sound in the Bose Revolve+ is amazing. But Ive heard the Apple Homepod last week at the apple store while they were in the back breaking my phone while changing out the battery (and eventually replacing with brand new phone...but jeez come-on, lost all data in apps and some pictures...this battery issue has been a complete fail for apple)...

Anybody with suggestions...mobility is key, want to take it when traveling and being outside is key.

Sounds good loud and sound doesn't "flex" the speaker when loud? And always with Bose...does the bass ok?

Bass is very good for such a small speaker, but it doesn’t sound good loud, starts to get a little distorted once you go above 3/4 volume

Funny saw this quoted above.

I bought the fridge i was looking for above. GE Profile, $4k. Fawker broke this week. $4K for a fridge that lasted 4 years, FML.

Continental WinterContact

Snow tires, if you live in the North/N.E these tires were the best investment! Great product and had no issues all winter long.

Re: Pimp That Product

Not exactly a product per se but I didn't want to start a new thread for this. Anybody used Scott's Cheap Flights before?

I was introduced to them via Reddit, they're an aggregate site that updates daily with spur-of-the-moment cheap flights to anywhere that isn't in the continental 48. They make their money from offering a premium membership where they offer perks like the uber-cheap mistake fares. The free membership still has good deals though, like today I'm seeing Richmond-Aruba for ~300 and DC-Amsterdam for ~500.

You don't book through them either, they just give you the guidelines since most deals only last a couple days or so. You look it up through Google Flights.

Au Pairs...specifically Italian one.

My sister in Connecticut got a new one for her kids...just gorgeous. I just think European girls are the way to go these days...so natural, mature and not into just our stupid ass culture. I need to get me one.
