If so, yep, I agree.
Yeah exactly.

Unfortunately I have family members that do it. It's beyond annoying.

I've been mesmerized by that guy for some reason. I think partially is because he's pretty damn gorgeous and the other reason is because that's still super f'ing creepy.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

What do you do when you have that one friend who comes over to your house to watch a movie and he leaves the place looking nasty? My friend comes over, we order some pies from Dominos, settle on watching Old School (still hilarious fyi), and by the end of the night he's single handedly demolished a slurpee, 2 bottles of water/mio, and a whole pie by himself. So after he leaves I notice that all my door handles that he touched are greasy, and he left his empty pizza box/big ass slurpee cup/bottled waters lying everywhere. WTF? I even gave him paper towels to wipe his hands so everything he touched wouldn't be greasy. Damnit.

Mooby, he sounds like a homeless person with a social life. Cut him loose.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Driving in to work today, come to a four way intersection with stop signs for my crossing street with the right of thru way for the street I want to enter by a left turn. I stop behind a truck with it's blinker on to make the same left turn as me. Traffic is usually light, but it is an awkward sight line, so I understand people taking extra care before making the turn. I wait.

... and wait, and wait. Easily two to three minutes waiting for the guy to make the left with ample opportunities to do so. Finally, I honk. Not a long, obnoxious honk but a "Hey, buddy, there is someone behind you - can you move it?" honk. Guy makes the left (finally) and I do too b/c their wasn't a car FOR BLOCKS. He pulls into the right lane and I pull into the left and, as I go by, he gives me the finger. I return the courtesy. At the next light, a red, he pulls behind me and leans into the horn the entire time the light is red.

Okay, it's the morning, maybe you thought I was being pushy - you wouldn't be the first and won't be the last to have that thought. You give me the finger after keeping me waiting for no apparent reason. Okay, fine - you are displeased at my actions. Free speech and all that - I have a finger too and can respond with equal vulgarity to demonstrate my displeasure with your actions. But holy f'ing crap. Leaning on your horn for a full minute when I CANNOT MOVE BECAUSE OF A RED LIGHT? Get a f'ing life.

I've purposely taken my time when getting in the car with those kind of people.

Get in, go through some stations for a minute or two, maybe pick something up to read or call my wife (and I will finish the call before I start driving, I prefer to watch the road when moving). Some people need to be taught the lesson of patience. They'd be in the store by the time I decide to pull out.

It's really pathetic when there is a spot open about 3 spaces away but they MUST have the closest spot so they don't overshoot their daily limit of steps walked.

No wonder 3 out of 4 people I see are overweight.

He actually was homeless, last year, living in his car outside of Chicago until I asked his uncle to let him come back and stay at his house and asked a couple old friends from the Target I used to work at if they could get him a job there. I can't just "cut him loose" now that he's back on his feet again.

Yeah I know that feeling. And it makes a pain in the ass too when you are trying to pass them in a crowded parking lot so you can go park in the back.

I tried, he made a mess after he was over a couple weeks ago and this time I gave him paper towels and a little talk about wiping his hands before he touched everything (we had Checkers a couple weeks ago and the same thing happened with the greasy doorknobs) and it appears not to have worked.

It's funny when it happens at the gym. Everyone fights for a parking space up front so that they will walk less...to work out.
