Re: 2022 Midterms thread
Republicans are in a good spot.
Control House, make as many investigative committees as they can, articles of impeachment on Biden, can basically steer the narrative and Fox News will run the playbook. Next 2 years ... its going to be economic pain. This works well for them. They can control headlines and can sit back and blame the Dems for the global financial crisis (while voting no on any measures to help america) |

You keep circling back around to this while never actually acknowledging how damaging it is to have Russia interfering in every election. Makes me wonder where your priorities are at.

GOP playbook has been to vote no on anything that might help ordinary citizens - then point out how liberals don't do anything to help ordinary citizens. It should be successful again.

Re: 2022 Midterms thread
If Warnock holds on in GA and AZ going w Kelly over Masters ... Dems at least have 50 senate seats?
Perhaps .. maybe .. house member centrists can try and get some bipartisan bills going in House --- Weed is legal in Maryland now, no surprises in our State or local races |

Re: 2022 Midterms thread
the fact that brain dead idiot has as many votes as he does is truly amazing. Never underestimate the power of voting party over people. A house plant would get the same votes if it ran as a R.

Re: 2022 Midterms thread
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's spokesperson confirmed that Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin sent a handwritten note of apology to her for comments he made after the assault on her husband, Paul Pelosi. The letter was postmarked for Nov. 1.
The letter comes after the Virginia Republican, while stumping for congressional candidate Yesli Vega, said about Paul Pelosi's assault: “Speaker Pelosi’s husband had a break-in last night in their house, and he was assaulted. There’s no room for violence anywhere, but we’re gonna send her back to be with him in California. That’s what we’re going to go do.” After his remarks, he told Punchbowl News: "At the end of the day, I really wanted to express the fact that what happened to Speaker Pelosi’s husband was atrocious. And I didn’t do a great job.” Punchbowl was the first to report about the letter. https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-ne...022/index.html Stand up move from Youngkin considering what he said wasnt close to as bad as what ted cruz and trump and others said. Rule is ... dont go full MAGA in a purple state |
