He ain’t firing Ron to hand the team to EB … that wouldn’t be better ..that should tell us how bad the staff is when you can’t fire a lame duck head coach because there is NOBODY better .. nobody

Re: Thanksgiving Day Gameday Thread
I try not to be a knee-jerk fan but I just don’t see any reason to keep this coaching staff around.
Sadly, I’ve lost any attachments to favorite players at this point as well. Blow it up, tear it down and level the remains. This franchise needs a complete cleaning of house.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Gameday Thread
I'm glad I didn't watch one play from today's game. I hardly ever miss any games, and I've been a fan since 1979. Even during other bad seasons, I still would watch games for the most part (I may missed games here and there ). This particular squad broke me last week. I vowed to not watch another game the remainder of the season and I'm sticking to it.
I loathe this staff more than any previous staffs. Eric Bieneimy, o-line be damned, has no reason being an OC. He's can't make any adjustments, and when he does (which is rare as an eclipse), it's fleeting. He's either too enamored with his playbook, extremely dense, or both. Anyone pining for him to remain on staff after this season are nuts. It doesn't even seem as if he prepares for the opposition. Besides, I doubt the new head coach will want him back. Bieneimy's poor (or lack of) adjustments, crappy schemes, and lack of attention to detail sold me weeks ago (I saw cracks in his armor in Week 1 and said as much, but hoped he'd learn) that he's not cut out for the job. He's likely better off as a position coach. No need for me to expound much on Rivera and JDR. They're too arrogant, stupid, and stubborn to change their ways. They're both archaic coaches who has no business in today's league. I think some players have checked out as well. Going through the motions. Some of y'all also continue to forget how bad of a staff we have. IMO, f**k Dallas! They've rolled also-rans and bum ass teams all season, but can't beat anyone with a pulse. I expect that to continue the remainder of the season and postseason. Lastly, depending on the staff and management we bring in, things can change next season or the following season. I'm no longer a glutten for this shit this season and can't bring myself to watch this madness the remainder of the season. |

9 draft picks. 6 in the top 100.
Boatload of cap space. Snyder is gone. All in on 2024. I am thankful for these things. |

And he just walked off when the reporter asked about Allen and JDR getting into it on the sideline.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Gameday Thread
Okay, so Ron should be fired now. Everyone said that it was the respectable thing to do, to not fire him before Thanksgiving game. That's behind us now and he should be fired. There is absolutely zero reason IMO to keep him after this evening. I know that firing a coach mid season is something that Dan would do, but the fans are out for blood and I feel we are justified in asking Harris and the ownership group to fire RR because everybody knew that Ron was not here beyond this season after the ownership change. It would be totally different if we were in the second year of his deal and the ownership change happened. At this point everyone in the NFL should know what you get with a Ron Rivera team, if they didn't figure it out in 13 seasons of mostly this, then maybe they won't.
I want to wake up in the morning and see that RR is gone...

This is gonna take a while .. we are several years from being competitive and that’s IF we get a competent Coach staff and GM .. there is not ONE player that is not expendable.. Incompetent folks put this roster together.. Blow it up !!!

There's a whole fanbase that's ready to be re-ignited and a city who is ready to love the team again. A majority owner who is respected in the sports world. Soon to be a new stadium that will be state of the art. I would think that this is a very attractive destination for a prospective HC. The big question IMO is will Josh Harris go after a veteran / retread HC or will he try and create / promote a new one...
