Re: Eagles Postgame
Sorry, my point got lost in there. Its not the strategy itself, as much as the ability of this staff to pick effectively. I don't think they did and the glaring holes still there seem to back that up.

Re: Eagles Postgame
I lost the post-game thread war so badly, my thread got deleted. skinsfaninok is Cox and I'm Cosmi.
Normally, I hate playing on Thursdays, but I think a short turn around will be nice here. Get this nasty taste out of our mouths asap.

Anyway, like I said, there are many ways to pick apart the actual decisions, but we may not know for some time if those decisions (specific players) were "correct", and we'll never know if the players we didn't pick would have worked out. |

Re: Eagles Postgame
Agree. We need a victory asap. The Bears are coming into town in rough shape without Chase Claypool who has been told to remain away from the team. They are a very desperate team. Absolutely must win this game.

LB group is average at best, and probably about the same as last year. Maybe at some point Cox will be ready and make an impact this year. If not, we'll all be hoping for a better solution this offseason (again). |

Re: Eagles Postgame
Cody Barton has been fucking trash. I can’t believe how JDR and Ron have handled that position here
There wasn’t a LB available in the second where we took Mathis or Martin this year or last? Jfc

Re: Eagles Postgame
One thing people having been talking about is our shitty special teams, especially punt returns. Time to say goodbye to Crowder and promote Kazmeir Allen.

Learn something new every day. I've never noticed that before. Cool stuff.

Re: Eagles Postgame
Barton is always late to the party. He has the athleticism. He's just slow to process.

Yeah, I don’t know what the hell Crowder was thinking. I would give a rookie a pass on this but Crowder is a vet and he knows the rules. |

Re: Eagles Postgame
He knows the rules. Split second decision though. He probably thought he couldn't get a return initially, waved his hand, then was like Oh shit there's room to run...and did.
At least it's no longer a penalty. |

It isn’t? Im just googling it because I wasn’t aware of that rule change but i see that it still is? One other thing unrelated and not directed at just you Chief. Im not saying I would have gone for two at the end because if we didn’t get it we would kill Ron also BUT im not buying the reason that they were gassed. It was like a 90 second drive and it is one play. If the offense is gassed to the point that one play is too much does it make sense to play for OT?? |
