Re: EA Sports commercial: hah!
So no one noticed she is waering Sammy Baugh's retired #33?
Either some moron don't know the Redskins or they are insulting a LIVING Legend by having an old texas woman wear his jersey Other than that the clip is funny What's up with the #33?

Re: EA Sports commercial: hah!
We all know that you (justifiably) hold Mr. Baugh in the highest regard. I'd imagine it was either ignorance, or not wanting to upset any current players (with whom they hold licensing agreements) by putting a 75-year old woman in their number.

Re: EA Sports commercial: hah!
Two things:
they used the 33 because it is the only retired Redskin number so it can't be an active player. You never know when you're going to have to sign a guy on Tuesday to play on Sunday and this way it will never be a guy on the roster no matter how long the commercial runs. Second, the commercial was made before the tragedy. And, maybe I'm wrong, but didn't Landry land that hit against the Eagles in the 4th quarter earlier this season? Great commercial I just don't think it was designed as a tribute to Sean.

Re: EA Sports commercial: hah!
I figured you of all people would know that Slingin' Sammy still lives on a working ranch in Texas. I doubt he'd ever go into an old folks home.

Good Idea. I will make one Next week after all the Sean Taylor stuff has had respectful time. That's a cool idea. We can make a big long thread and I will print it out and send to him. Seeing my current Redskins Hero Sean Taylor taken makes me apprieciate ole Sammy Baugh being around at almost 94. Hail Redskins Warpath and our Team! peace mike
