Trade Issues
Ok i was offered two trades this week and I still have been thinking about doing them. I need help to determine which one I should do, if any.
Here is my team: Qb:Rex Grossman rb: Tomlinson rb: Mcallister wr: Chambers wr: Driver wr: Bryant te: Heath miller k: Nedney D: Vikings bn: Barlow bn: Cotchery bn: Desmond Clark bn: Givens bn: Warner One team offered me Steven Jackson, David Carr, and Miami defense for Tomlinson and Warner. Another team offered me Ronnie Brown, Reggie Bush, and Arizona just for Tomlinson. Which one you guys think I should do, if any? |

Re: Trade Issues
I don't like either of those trades.
Tomlinson is a fantasy football beast. Steven Jackson and David carr isnt an upgrade over Tomlinson and Grossman. and the addition of the defence means nothing really, It depends on who they are playing... Ronnie Brown and Bush is kinda interesting because it would give you depth at RB, Which you need. But both those guys wont be as consistent as LT. LT almost gaurantees you 80 Yards rushing, 20 Yards Receiving and 1 TD every week. Maybe my asking price is unrealistic but I would ask for a 1st round WR and a First round rb for LT. also, I dont like 3 for 1 trades because of the limited roster spots. you will basicly have to drop Viks D for arizona and probably barlow... Hold out for superstars, unless someone gets hurt and you're desperate. But thats just my opinion. I should mention that im getting my ass handed to me in my fantasy football league... |

Re: Trade Issues
No deal. Never deal a fantasy stud for equal parts. You have to get a comparable player from another position. Tomlinson is the surest thing this year now with LJ situation and Alexander out. I can't think of any reasonable deal that you'd even get.

Re: Trade Issues
Neither seem very good to me. Remember, barring injury you'll have LT for the rest of the season b/c he just had his bye, so depth shouldn't be too much of an issue. Plus, neither of those DEFs seem to be too good, in fact, they're probably on waivers in most leagues right now.

Re: Trade Issues
LT is past his bye week and doesn't get hurt. you don't need the depth since they won't put up as many points (LT gets TDs AND yardage, RB gets TDs, bush gets yardage).
don't do it. |

Re: Trade Issues
Doesn't look favorable (fair?) for you to me either. LT is what I call "guaranteed points"; you need someone in return that's somewhat comparable at another position plus a 2nd/3rd-tier RB.

Re: Trade Issues
Keep LT. Dump Warner if you can.
