Taking advantage of bad throws by Lamar and converting them to turnovers could sway the game.

Re: Ravens Pre-Game Thread
For those that don't know I'm a Brit and get my NFL fix largely via Sky TV over here. The prime slot is 6PM (your 1PM EC games) and for the first time in a long time, especially early season, they have this game on live. Woohoo! A Washington game in this slot would have been virtually unheard of in the last few years. What a difference new ownership and all has made!

Re: Ravens Pre-Game Thread
Only with DAZN and given how much we pay for Sky, and we usually get 2-3 Washington games a year on Sky (TNF, SNF and MNF), its not currently worth the extra cost. But on this upward trajectory, I might be tempted!

Re: Ravens Pre-Game Thread
I'm cautiously optimistic for this game. I feel like we are def trending in the right direction, and beating bad teams pretty easily. I say that, though, knowing that the only playoff caliber team we faced really kicked the shit out of us. So, i think a lot of our stats are misleading....but we are doing what we had hoped...beating teams that are def beatable. I hope that the hype is real. daniels is def the qb talent we have been lacking for soooooo long. ownership, coaching, and office staff are all where we need them to be (finally), but i dont want to get my hopes up and assume that we are some crazy turnaround worst to first story. we still have a lot of holes on the team that need to be addressed. Secondary is sketchy as hell....and sans last week, our d front has been questionable. they are going to be tested with lj. still a great position even if we lose to be 4-2 in the first third of the season... i cant remember the last time i could say that.
and thats where i think we'll sit going into next week. we get a hard fought loss: 28-32, but still look good enough that people dont dismiss us as a fluke.

Re: Ravens Pre-Game Thread
Forbes and Davis on the inactive list. Man our ROI on 1st rounders is low. Add Chase to that list. And Haskins. My God.
On to Baltimore. We’ve played well this night recent weeks and have improved on defense in particular. But the Giants, Cards, Bengals, and Browns aren’t top 10 teams. The Ravens are. But I’m with all the folks saying that we can and should make it competitive. A win would be amazing but seems unlikely. Baltimore’s pass D is sus, but outside of that, they don’t have a lot of flaws. Without some turnovers going our way and perhaps some special teams help, this could be a reality check game. But for me, the difference is wanting to see this game to see what we can do versus dreading this game - a big difference in a year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Ravens Pre-Game Thread
Robinson is inactive too, unfortunately. Not that we can't run without him but it would have been nice having our bell cow back in teh game if we need to chew up some clock.
