Re: Redskins over Cards postgame
Grant is definitely 1 of the best 160 WRs in the NFL, based on 5 to a team, there's a spot for him on the roster. Never seen a guy who seems like a great teammate and is under a cheap contract get rheemed so much. He's gonna finish the year with 500+ yards and 4+ TDs. I think he's earned his checks this year.

Re: Redskins over Cards postgame
I agree. He's been our most dependable receiver this year, which really is an indictment of our receiving corps. Still, I think he's reached his ceiling. He's never gonna be a clutch guy, or a guy who makes athletic plays over db's, or a guy who catches everything that comes near his hands. But over the course of a year, he'll catch 2/3 of the passes thrown his way. This year we desperately need him, any other year he'd probably be relegated to backup duty.

He's stepped up this year and has been serviceable. But he is fine for what he is ... on the flip side, you do want your 4-5 WRs to be contributing on teams. Much like your 4-5 CBs.

Grant is fine, it’s not his fault he’s been asked to play as much as he has. He’s clearly a #4 type of WR.

Re: Redskins over Cards postgame
Smith did have a nice INT in coverage last week, but I'm with you on going back to a 4-3 exclusively with Smith, Kerrigan, and Murphy as DEs. Anderson would be much better suited as a strong-side LB. Re-sign Brown to play MLB. We have wasted 8 years dabbling with the 3-4 without a real NT.
