re: What Shows Are You Watching?
This may have already been mentioned but i want to recommend hbo's miniseries on WW2, The Pacific.
Ive been watching it over the last few weeks and it is an amazing series. Its done a little different than Band of Brothers so i dont want to compare it to that or try and think which one i like better but it is absolutely great. I got one episode left and have no idea how it can be finished with just one episode but i cant wait. Hopefully Sunday or early next week.

Have you checked out Generation Kill? It doesn't touch Band of Brothers or even The Pacific, but still worth checking out if you like a good war mini-series. |

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
I probably skipped over Generation Kill because of the title, ill definietly check it out. My girlfriend is completely caught up in The Pacific like nothing ive seen before with her not involving NKOTB (dont search it). Like most girls she hates things involving war. Im gonna either try Band of Brothers or Generation Kill on her next.

I gave this show a second chance, and I'm glad I did.

So the one AMC show no one here seems to talk about is Hell on Wheels. Is it not worth checking out?

It's kinda hit or miss from what I've heard.

Anybody see the Roseanne Roast on CC last night? Pretty gud, Jeff Ross killed it of course. Ross came dressed as Joe Paterno. Tom Arnold showed up unannounced which was crazy

I heard some highlights on Stern. Ross was a guest last week, he's hilarious

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
I like it, but am a fan of western type shows. Definitely something you want to give a few episodes before you give up on it.

Well it's on Netflix so I may check it out. I'm a bit of a history buff, and to me the last quarter of the 19th century (post Civil War) is the most fascinating

I watched the pilot of Animal Practice right after the Olympics closing ceremony. I found it hilarious. Show doesn't premiere til Sept 26th though.

Ditto. If you haven't caught the Hatfields and McCoys I'd recommend it as well.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
It ain't new but I've been going back through some classic shows and right now I'm rewatching Scrubs. Still one of the best written shows IMO.
