I don't see Teddy doing much

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Or Darnold, though he does have a better potential upside. Too many questions around Darnold; is he just bad or has Gase broken him? Even if it is down to Gase, is the damage already done?
If he was cheap and easily disposed of, I'd give him a shot. But that all depends on whether the Jets change their stance on him before the draft. His value drops by the day (people are now chasing Watson, maybe Carr and Wentz, so he's not getting a mention), and drops even more post draft when at least 5 QB's are expected to be gone by end of round 2. If the Jets are planning on shopping him they would probably have done it by now, owning the #2 pick. |

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Never got the Bridgewater hype. He's a bottom third of the league starter. I'd rather roll the dice on Darnold if I had to choose between the two. But he makes so many boneheaded decisions. I don't think Gase takes all the blame for his so-so play.

Trade up and get Trey Lance if he is still available around pick 10.

Lance is a project. Not worthy of a 1st round pick IMO. But we all know w/ Qb's they get over drafted.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Les Bowen
@LesBowen · 1h I've talked to an NFL source, not w/the Eagles, who hears a Wentz trade is close. That isn't first-hand information. I do feel that the longer we go without Wentz saying something like "I'm happy to be an Eagle and excited about playing for Nick Sirianni," the closer we get... While I don't think WFT are involved and it is just an unsourced tweet, it is interesting and affects the market |

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Fields to me has the most upside to all the Qb's. If he gets the right coaching and goes somewhere stable he could be the best out of everyone. He just made so many ridiculously great throws, time after time. But then he had some moments where you feel like he is going to be another OSU bust. He certainly played better than Lawrence head to head.
Mac Jones is too tough to evaluate because he is slow and doesn't have a big arm, but is pin point accurate. Also the game is going away from slow drop back guys so to me not worthy of drafting round one. Lance I would not touch in the first round. Absolutely not. |

Wentz huh? What do you think he goes for, a 3rd? A 4th?

Lance would be fine if he fell to 19 but I don't see that happening

- The dead cap Wentz would incur on the Iggles would be ridiculous. - Doug Pedersen was fired because he wanted to roll with Hurts I don't even know if they could pull a deal like the Rams, where they gave up picks to get rid of Goff's contract. Honestly, it is a lose-lose situation with Wentz for the Iggles, unless Wentz magically starts playing well again.

Most likely the Eagles are stuck with him, and they let it play out hoping that 2020 was an aberration. |

I'll be glad when we actually make a decision on QB1
