Redskins support Maryland casino measure | ProFootballTalk
made me think about arundel mills. the last time i was over there, they were still building the parking garage(s?), what's it like over there? i feel sorry for anyone who plays slots. play poker, only worry about losing the rake to the casino.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 5 Style
At the same time, probably let's Ryan off the hook this year - he gets to blame any failures on losing Holmes and Revis. Much as I don't like the guy, those are pretty big hits to both sides of the ball. Hard to compensate for that.

I also find it difficult to judge based on the talent level in our secondary. Its easy to look out coached when other teams just have that much more talent. Across the board, I dont believe that can be said for a fair amount of the team. But comparing other teams WR's to our secondary, I believe the talent level is not very close. Throw in that we havent generated a consistent pass rush. That makes it near impossible to actually grade the DB's coach unless you are at every practice and on the sidelines during games. |

Re: Around the NFL...Week 5 Style
Im still trying to figure out who decided it was racist, since it wasnt the Indians. The real racist term at that time was "Injun".
200 years ago, people called you by what the color your skin looked with the word skin after it. As much as people joke about whiteskins, thats what whites were called back then. African American/Blacks were called blackskins. Indians (both native american and from India and that part of Asia) were called redskins, and hispanics as well as chinese/japanese/korean ect were called yellowskins. One thing I have never understood. There were these people that killed Indians at will. A group of people that said beating a 5 year old Indian child to death with the stock of the shotgun was to fun to waste a bullet on them. Yet no one wants to outlaw the sports term... COWBOYS... |
