Mariota is garbage. Washed out in Tennessee and wasn’t good enough to be any more than a backup. Don’t want him. Or Cam.

My list is of next possible QBs:

Want:
Watson (not going to happen)
Dak (doubtful)
Carr (probably not available)

Don’t want but could live with:
Darnold
Hurts
Bridgewater
Ryan
Taylor

Don’t want under any circumstance:
Garopolo
Trubisky
Winston
Mariota
Newton
Wentz

At this point let someone fall in the draft, trade up if necessary for Lance or Fields. Maybe Mac Jones will be there at 19.

Even if Lance is less polished, I would rather have him. Higher ceiling. I haven’t heard terrific things about Fields, but I hear Lance is meticulous in his planning, organization, film study, and work ethic. I can get behind that.

Didn't mean it as an obsessive thing. My point moreso was bring in a vet qb without trading a high pick, and have an open competition.

At this point there is no qb I want to trade #19 for (Watson is an exception, but that is not happening so I discount him)

Yeah i tend to lean towards lance too but I think that is because im extremely apprehensive about OSU quarterbacks right now. Point is now we certainly have to draft a quarterback or at least try to.

Rams havent had a 1st rd pick since 2016, but are in the playoffs every year. But some refuse to believe that Proven players > picks. Id trade my 1st rd pick for the next 5 years if it meant Deshaun Watson was coming to my team
