Re: Around the NFL week 8
I cant believe shit like that when it happens. Loss for words when the game is potentially influenced THAT significantly on a bad or blown call.

Nicki Jhabvala
@NickiJhabvala There are no quarterbacks on the field today during the media-viewing portion. Why? They’re throwing in the bubble. Translation = Hes practicing lol

Keim thinks it's Mariota on Sunday.

Re: Around the NFL week 8
This isn't a "must-win" game. I have no problem with the team choosing to be abundantly cautious w/ Jayden, if they choose to be.
If we can play turnover free ball, pound Robinson down their throats, and hit some passes here and there we can still win with Mariota (didn't think this before last week or after his 1st few passes). Defense needs to step up big time this week.

Re: Around the NFL week 8
Every single play should be reviewable. There should not be 1 call on the field that cannot be challenged. It doesn't make sense why a penalty that all but ended the game cannot be challenged but you can challenge a 5-yard completion call in the 1st drive of the game if you want. Teams should get 2 challenges (then a 3rd if they were right on the 1st 2) then those can be used for EVERYTHING that happens during the game.

Re: Around the NFL week 8
I'm not a fan of the auto-instant replay, but yeah, if they're using it, it should be used correctly. I'd rather give more challenges to the teams, then controlled by the league itself.

Re: Around the NFL week 8
I kind of like the instant for the obvious mistakes as it is much faster and doesn't interrupt the game nearly as much.

Re: Around the NFL week 8
I can see the merits, but I think if you get 2 or 3 challenges a game, you wouldn't need those. I don't think there are more than 4 truly blatant calls during the average NFL game where just letting the teams choose themselves, would be an unnecessary burden. But that's just my opinion.

Vikings got a raw deal when that face mask call wasn't called at all! Would had a different ending!

Re: Around the NFL week 8
surprised at the Baltimore loss to the Browns. Jerry is looking super old in his booth and Dallas looks like it's heading for a loss. Pretty nice Sunday all things considered.
