Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
Is anyone else secretly worried that Harris runs it back with Ron and Jack or even just Ron? Like somehow they think it is about personnel more than scheme/coaching? We are all 100 percent convinced that they are both dead men walking but there is this little part of me that worries they will be back.

I honestly think even Ron doesn’t want come back ; he is ready for retirement and / or a smaller role ( coordinator different team)

Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
I’m all in with the 2024 kool-aid. Could really care less about the results on the field right now. We got rid of Snyder and it looks like we have a QB. We’re looking at a new GM and coaching staff coming in. We’ve got cap room and picks.
I’m genuinely excited about the future around here. |

Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview

Yeah. 100 percent. I said this even when we were 2-0. The wins felt hollow. Sam has proven himself and we picked up two early picks. This is the best position this team has been in since the glory days. |

Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
So, it seems everyone is on board with the fact that this season is over, and we are all in on 2024. With that being said do we want to win any more games? Lol. We are still in the running for a top 5 pick, and higher picks in each round there after. The perfect scenario for the future would be Sam continues to ball out but we lose. It would be hard to stomach for the next several weeks. Maybe thats why we haven’t fired JDR. Maybe it’s a tank thing?

Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview

Oh I am in no way insinuating that they are or they are throwing games. Though there are a few that make me wonder. Just saying that the new ownership group might be keen on the fact that JDR is single handedly costing us games and fine with it due to the fact that it will help with the draft. It is an organic tank. Lol. |

Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
The most important thing is hiring the right GM (or the right Team Prez who hires the right GM) and empowering that FO to hire the right HC who will then bring the right coordinators and staff.
On that note, I hope they don't go after Belichick. That would be such a vintage Early Snyder Era move. |

Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
I thought reading the headline there would be actual comment from Harris to confirm RR is in place till year end, but instead it reads as more speculation than anything.
https://www.nfl.com/news/commanders-...a-after-season It suggests its unlikely that RR will be fired tomorrow, but that doesn't mean he's guaranteed and it certainly doesn't protect JDR. I have a feeling from this RR could be bumped upstairs come January (NOT GM!) rather than out and out fire him (unless he retires), but JDR (and others) will be gone. Personally I'd rather see a GM in place now if possible (but that could depend on their preference only being available in January) and JDR fired sooner than later. |

Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
Was really hoping to wake up to Rivera and JDR is fired thread.
Oh well, looks like still 5 more weeks. I think we will beat either the Jets or Rams and lose to everyone else. 5-12 here we come.
