I assume he could get out of that. He's not their GM anymore. You just have to get someone at the top that knows what they're doing, that has a track record of success.

I tuned into Ron and Mayhew and had to turn them off after listening to their nonsense. This team is going nowhere w/ those two. Seriously , lets say you are the shining jewel of your profession working in one of the top company's in your field and now at the end of your career you would want to go work at at best a fallen company littered with cancer and neglect.

I'm not against the idea of bringing Carr here, as long as we sign him through free agency, not trade.

My ideal plan is to sign a QB and have an open competition between him and Howell during the training camp, and focus on strengthening the team through draft and FA. If the QB doesn't work out in 2023 then we would be in a better position to give up our capitals to get a real QB at the end.
