This fanbase turning its nose up on Carr bc hes not a Burrow or Mahomes .. it blows my mind. Reminds me of the Kirk Cousins when fans balked at paying the going rate for a top 15 QB .. because hes wasnt Aaron Rodgers.
Functional franchise 31 year old QBs dont hit the open market often ... we are a QB starved franchise with WR weapons and a D ..... but we think we get to be picky and turn down an 8 because we are waiting for a big tittied but not fat bombshell 10 to magically appear in our life and say "this, this franchise with a horrible owner, horrible field, horrible organization the last 2 decades, zero track record of success in almost 30 years .. I chose you Commanders!"
Funny part .. all the fans clamoring for Howell and not Carr will be screaming for Rons head half way through the season if Howell plays like a 5th rounder.
C'est la vie.
We learned nothing from the Cousins saga.

I think Carr could work in a west coast offense…but if Greg Roman is the O coordinator, that’s a water and oil match. Roman gonna need a stronger Oline and someone athletic behind center. And you got a 3 wr set offense with a your primary TE who can’t block…I don’t think the personnel matches the scheme.
